I am very favourable towards jitb. The counter service which I use is slow but friendly. Cars come first. Last time we went there we had apchicken fingers and fries, which were really tasty, and a burger on sourdough bread, which was ok. Food is freshly served. I go back often because the quality is there.

I’ve been through the drive thru here a few times recently. It had been years since I’ve been to one, and I have to say, it’s pretty good(for what it is… which is fast food). Their sourdough jack is my favorite of the burgers and I also like their chicken fajita pita. Of the sides, the jalapeño bites are great, as are the curly fries, and of course, I have to say the 2 cheapie tacos turn me on! LOL I mean, look, this is not high end eating, but every once in a while when you want to get your greasy fix on, it will suffice!

I had not visited this location in several years due to previously having a bad experience regarding the drive-thru. On my most recent visit 02÷07÷16 I arrived to an empty drive-thru and hoped I would be in & out in no time. As soon as I pulled up to the ordering area I was asked to wait for a period of time, which wasn’t unreasonable but already peaked my curiosity due to the fact that there was nobody else in line at the time. After paying I was at the window for several minutes while a good portion of the crew seemed to be socializing and hanging out instead of doing the orders. The drive-thru guy eventually came back to the window and asked me to move my car to the parking lot and my food would be brought out to me.(This was late night and I presume it was so that they can fudge their numbers to make it look like orders are being done on time). Against my better judgement I went ahead and did so, which I immediately regretted since there were sketchy people hanging out there. I don’t even know what to recommend to this place on how to improve. They should just close down at night, but the unfortunate reality is that people are forced to accept the level of crap they put out, since they are the only late-night location in the area.

If there was less then one start I would give a zero this place has the worst customer service. The lady taking our order was annoyed that she had to speak and take the order in the first place which was very rude. Then we asked her for water and she rolled her eyes. When we left they forgot our fries and were really annoyed we we came back for them. Horrible jack in the box.

I gave one start, only because I wasn’t able to give Zero! I’m so disguised on the poor level of customer Services this Location offers! The so call«manager in charge» is so rude and RACIST! I’m Hispanic and so is he but i guess he is just ashamed of his own people i went and order in Spanish and he was Rude. I couldn’t find any napkins so my husband ask him for napkins and he only gave him 3, when we were 4 people! 2 other people came and he gave them lots of napkins.

Had not been to jack in about 10 years — and tried this one a few days ago. And it was super good and tasty! Burger was great and fries were tasty. Bacon on my burger was really tasty! After 10 years — I’m gonna come back more and more!

One big gripe with this place, that I’ve had trouble with multiple times: they close 15 minutes early when it isn’t busy. Thankfully the Safeway nearby is open 24⁄7.

I never thought I would have to take the time to write a review like this. We visited Jack-in-the-Box late-night looking to get food and head to bed. I asked if I could add an extra side of chocolate sauce to my Churros. I didn’t see it on the menu but I was assured to would be on my take-out order. When we got home the chocolate sauce didn’t exist as I suspected. I called back because I thought it may have gotten left out and every time I explained my order and the chocolate sauce I got hung up on, by the same man. If you didn’t have what I asked for you should’ve been upfront about it instead of ruining your customer service. Way to over promise and never deliver. #Pathetic customer service

I went through the drive-thru window and ordered a sausage croissant. They always try and push the meal on you, wish is annoying enough — but ordering a SAUSAGE croissant and getting it with NOSAUSAGE was very irritating. Who can forget the main part of the sandwich? Are these employees playing games or what? I tried calling, but was told the manager was too busy to come to the phone. I went through the drive-thru on 5÷20÷15 at about 7:45 pm.

This review is based on my experience today, and today only. I go to this location and always experience great customer service. I always encounter the same people working the drive through window and they are so polite. So to them, 5 stars. Today, I went there around noon. The usual nice and polite employees I encounter, were not there on this day. As I was entering the parking lot from Montecito Ave, I saw a young male employee standing in the drive through, a yard or two away from the drive through window, I saw him bend over, looked like he was placing something on the ground. As he saw me driving by, he had a smirk on his face, then scurried over to the drive through window and crawled in it. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I pulled around the building, entered the drive through, I order an iced coffee. As I approached the drive through window, about a yard or two away from the window, I heard a pop. I then saw red stuff splatter all over my arm, shirt and all over the side of my car. Did this guy play a prank or was he trying to clean up ketchup packets from the drive through? Why would the ketchup packets be so far away from the window if they had been accidentally dropped? And they usually put the sauces in your takeout bag. I honestly think this was a prank. Spoke to some friends and they have done this type of thing when they were teenagers working at a fast food joint. To the manager of this location, you may need to check on your staff that worked this Sunday 6⁄8 around noon.

if you want to be offered a nutrition menu after being recommended a jacks munchie meal by rude employees — go here! i am 22, female, no where near overweight and this was inside the restaurant not even in the drive thru. i am never going here ever again and i’m calling corporate to file a complaint, this is not good customer service. no fast food should be selling food to a customer and then making them feel offended by ordering it. really? at a jack in a box? they lost me as a customer. rude.

Customer service at drive-thru is stellar. Gosh, their two free tacos surveys on all their receipts makes this a never-stopping cycle to constantly come back! AHHH!!! Their Chicken Sandwich I had Wednesday night was SOOOOO good! It really hit the spot.

I’m pretty easily satisfied with generic fast food, and this Jack in the Box delivers it. Overall burgers aren’t really their strength. They have a diverse menu that rivals restaurants in terms of the number of cuisines it attempts to mimic, but it’s really just Americanized versions of popular Mexican/Chinese items. Tacos, egg rolls, a few awkward sandwiches… not really as diverse as it seems. But I will say this… Jack in the Box has some nice chicken options, more so than most other«burger» chains. This particular location is a good example of what you can expect from JITB.

I know you are all wondering why I am giving this place 5 stars. It’s not because the service was out of this world or the prices was dirt cheap, but because I ate the best Sourdough Jack ever. My kids and I usually go to Jacks at least 4 times a month. They have their usual order and I have mine. We typically go to the Jacks in Santa Clara of El Camino and Lafayette. The only reason why I’m getting food here is because it is near my work and I didn’t have time to bring lunch. But getting back to the Sourdough Jack. The Sourdough Jack meal is what I always get. I may add a few other side orders, but I always get the Sourdough Jack and I don’t deviate from what I truly like. I have never been disappointed because the consistency between different Jack’s restaurant is always the same, UNTILNOW!!! I don’t know what it was, maybe the meat was just grilled/broiled at the right temperature and time or maybe the bread had the right amount of grease/butter or the sauce had a little more spice, but what ever it was, it just tasted different. It was DEEELICIOUS!!! The best Sourdough Jack sandwich I’ve had and believe me I have had A LOT of Sourdough Jacks. If heaven had a Sourdough Jack, then that would have been it, wh-what!!! Maybe this was just a one time deal. But I hope not. I will revisit this restaurant again and will update my review.

I didn’t know this, but each location is individually owned, so the prices vary from location to location. With that said, the Sourdough Jack sandwich was a dollar more expensive here than the one on El Camino closer to the 85 exit/downtown Mountain View! What the heck! There is also a sign inside saying that you can’t sit at the tables for more than 30 minutes.

i’ve come here a couple of times to pick up breakfast on the go, always parking and going inside to order vs the drive-thru. i like the breakfast burrito, and usually get it sans meat(just the egg, cheese & hash browns), which is pretty tasty and definitely very filling, and lasts me all the way ’til lunch time. i’ve also had the mini pancakes which is a great bang for your buck, 8 mini pancakes for $ 1! can’t find this deal anywhere else, although taste-wise, the pancakes are just average. service is average, sometimes i get a cashier who struggles to understand the«no meat» part but they usually get it when i say«no bacon» and«no sausage.» for the most part, a reliable place to pick up breakfast on the go. you can also choose to eat in as there is a decent amount of seating inside.

This place is pretty fast, food’s hot, service is good. I just want to know when they decided peppering the CRAP out of burgers was THE way to make the food good. I still enjoy this location, but I often have to tell them no seasoning, otherwise I’m choking on the massive amounts of pepper that get added as it cooks. You can’t scrape it off once it’s on!
