Hotel Vue

The hotel is nice and clean. Well, it looks like it was renovated to cover flaws, but, they did a good job. Like how they redo the interior of the room. Smaller room from we used to stay, but, it’s a great find and deal in the heart of mountain view.

Stayed here on Saturday of a 3 day weekend… placed was decently clean with free breakfast. Those are the pros in a nutshell.
If you’re actually looking to get some shut eye, bring ear plugs or some sort of noise blockers or book somewhere else. Walls are paper thin. We got in super late and apparently the only rooms left were on the 1^st floor and we could hear the doorbell (I guess there’s a buzzer at night), every single foot step, cough, and x-​rated noise imaginable through 3 – 4 a.m. (not sure why there were so many night owls up on this particular Saturday) that it was impossible to get any sleep whatsoever. Bathroom door also stuck and the bathroom consisted solely of toilet and shower. You had to then open the door and step outside to the sink to wash your hands, which just isn’t an ideal set up.

Booked a room for a Sunday night last minute of the Hotel Tonight app and found Hotel Vue. The price was good and the hotel looked quaint from the pictures.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My room was very clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. The wifi worked well and the TV had good channels to chose from.
The complementary breakfast in the morning was better than most — cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, muffins, etc.
My only complaint would be how thin the walls seemed in the morning — we could hear every door open and close, people in the hallway, etc. It seemed quite loud in the morning (and early too! Before 7 AM). Besides that, I enjoyed my stay and this hotel.

Had to take a last minute trip to Mountain View and needed to find a hotel quick. Very reasonably priced, clean, free wifi & the breakfast the hotel offered in the morning was very yummy. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I needed a break from the kids, we also had a concert to go to in Mt. View the next day so we thought this would be the perfect place. It was. It was quiet, clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only suggestion I would have would be to have either in room purchasable movies or a dvd player so we could’ve gotten a redbox or something. But other than that everything was great and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We casually picked Hotel Vue after using the Hotel Tonight app to fill in a gap in our honeymoon hotel plans. We were immediately impressed by the service we received at the front desk by the female clerk who offered us a beverage and fresh baked cookies. Our room was beautiful, romantic and clean and the whole environment was very modern. When Sammi, the hotel manager, learned that we were on our honeymoon he excitedly started grabbing snacks and sodas off the wall to give to us to make our stay more pleasant. We were also delighted to learn that the hotel offered free breakfast! The food was great and the friendly environment was even better. We will definitely be returning here soon and we would highly recommend to anyone needing a hotel in the Mountain View area!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel manager, Mr. Bentaieb and desk clerk Rajneeta were very friendly and accommodating. This was our second time staying and it only confirmed our positive experience the first time we stayed.
Continental breakfast was certainly adequate.
Close to restaurants in Mountain View.
Freeway access close.
We’ll be back if we are in the area again.

Clean, modern, USB, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, TV tray on bed, nice TV, breakfast downstairs in the morning. Decent layout. eggs, bacon, toast, bagel, cereal, coffee, donuts, juices etc.
We paid $ 149 on a Saturday August 2^nd 2015. Every hotel room literally in Northern California to the Oregon border was taken, (and I’m not exaggerating) unless I wanted to spend $ 500 for one bed! No thanks! We searched for a hotel room for 6 hours, until we drove backwards 2 hours on our trip. We arrived here after 1:00am.

I travel a lot to this area for work. I’ve stayed here two times now. The price is good for the area, which can be pricey. Staff is always friendly.
Rooms are nice and comfortable and definitely not like a normal hotel. Room size will depend on which room you get.
The bed is comfortable, the room is clean and it’s quiet at night, which is a plus in this price range.

I travel a lot for work (~90%) and have stayed at a lot of hotels. Knowing this was a boutique hotel, I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but in the end, I was pleasantly surprised! The interior was clean, modern, and had most things you would expect from a standard run-​of-​the-​mill budget hotel, e.g., Four Points, Courtyard or Garden Inn.
One thing that really surprised me was how comfortable the bed was. Either that, or I was unusually tired, but I couldn’t get out of bed the following morning. Definitely more comfortable than something you find in even your larger chain hotels. Also, the desk staff were helpful and friendly.
If you find yourself in the Mountain View area and need a place to just crash for the night, you should take a chance at Hotel Vue! Just make sure you don’t have anything you gotta wake up for in the AM. ;)

Booked last minute w hotel tonight app. $ 90 is a good deal for this area. Clean, updated, fridge, microwave. Only complaint is that this hotel seems to attract an element of younger people that use it as a crash pad after partying. A lot of people checked in after 1000pm and they were loud and seemed drunk. Couldn’t get to sleep for several hours. Solid 4 stars for hotel itself.

I rarely write Unilocal reviews unless they are truly well deserved, and Avi (the General Manager) is AMAZING! I have been working with him to coordinate large groups staying at Hotel Vue throughout October/​November and he has continued to go above and beyond to make accommodations for me. The hotel itself is great, everyone who we have had stay there has had only great things to say.
I really cannot express enough how great Avi is — he has been patient with me through any and all road-​bumps that my planning has hit including last minute room changes, payment issues, etc. He always responds to my emails right away with any questions, concerns, or bookings that I have.
I haven’t had much interaction with any of the staff besides Avi, but I have only good things to say about this hotel!

Hotel was fine, a bit of a let down for the price as it seemed to be an older hotel that was recently updated and remodeled. But, on that note, it was modern and very clean. It also was very conveniently located and hotel staff were friendly.
We stayed in one of the strangely long rectangle-​shaped corner rooms on the first level, that other reviewers have mentioned, and it had a small shower and no fridge and not a whole lot of room to move around. (Although there was a little table and chairs set up for eating, working, etc. which was nice.). And, because it was just down the hall from the front desk and janitors’/maids’ closet, it was a little loud. We were only here to sleep though, as we stayed here when we went to a concert. If I was staying there and had to work or study or was going to be spending any lengthy amount of time in the room, I would definitely make sure I didn’t get one of these corner rooms, especially on the first floor.
They have a free hot breakfast which I didn’t eat, but my husband did, and said it was good. I think we’d stay here again given how clean and conveniently located it was to the amphitheater, downtown restaurants, gas stations, ect.

It was all gravy and good until I got charged incidentals for smoking charged. But there is a difference between smoking in the room and the room smelling like fresh bud. I didn’t even burn it but it’s crazy to charge 250 for a room smelling like it was blazed up. Whatever I liked the spot but weak, you guys bought the bad review from me

I’ve stayed here a few times. Every time one of the staff members Avi was there to help me out and was extremely knowledgable about things to do and where to go in the are. As for the place itself: the service is above par, fast reliable internet. Breakfast was delicious and the staff members are meticulous when it comes to customer service and keeping things clean and tidy.

my husband and I stayed here for 4^th of july weekend and it was good. our room was a nice size as well as the bathroom. typical hotel which they considered «boutique».
this might soumd weird but they do not have vending machines. we were dead thirsty when we got there. especially in july when its hot as heck. we were offered to buy a $ 3 can of soda or a tiny cup of water at the reception.
definitely staying at this hotel again and making sure to stop at a gas station to get us water before checking in.

The room was pretty nice as far as furniture and cleanliness. And it was cheap. Unfortunately, we got stuck in a broom closet sized room in the corner of the building. It was really narrow and the bathroom had weird windows. Also, the shower head was set way too high for a small shower, so we pretty much had to hug the wall to be under the water. Maybe the other rooms have more space, ours was just uncomfortably cramped. Oh, and the breakfast is bad. Only the bagels were good. And the dining area is too cramped too, so expect to be elbow to elbow with some strangers.

Hotel is definitely nice. I liked the room.
However this is more of a note to myself that I went down and asked the night front desk person, who said his name was Jesse, if he had a pair of scissors and he said no. I asked him again if he was sure and if the entire hotel had no scissors which I find a bit hard to believe and he said no and have me a bit of an attitude. Think better manners would go a long way here, but maybe I’ll get killed for being rude? Not sure but either way I’ll be discussing with the manager tomorrow am (which I told him I’d do and he responded with,“please do.”)

Best FREE breakfast, get there right when it starts !!! Great manager & AM staff (check out). Wasn’t thrilled about desk employee at check in, she could not direct to me address 3 lots down, by number??? I feel she should have been able to tell me «„oh that number should be this way, not far at all.“»
Décor super cute and clean in lobby.
My room was VERY loud street view until traffic slowed. Thankfully really slowed and was much quieter before I feel asleep.
Décor in my room look at bit incomplete at baseboards.
Pillows, too mushy for my taste. Did not ask if any other options were available.
Booked on hotel night, for great price, would go back !!!
