Gow Chow

Greek /​Mediterranean food. I fell in love with this truck a few month ago and I’ve been waiting for it to reappear. They were down for about month because they were upgrading their truck.
The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I always enjoy talking with them. I get to find out about more about food trucks. They tend to talk to the other food truck.
I love the food. I always get the lamb wrap ($ 10), I get a portion of fries to fill me up. The ingredients are all laid out on the wrap, so you know exactly what you’re eating. Also the cucumber are sliced pretty thinly. (i really dislike thick slicers) the lamb itself was seasoned well and not over cooked. There fries are one of my favorites fries around. It really has to do with texture. I like mine on the thin side to get nice crispy outside. Although I do like soggy fries, these were far from soggy. Crispy and not crunchy. The perfect fries.

Gow Chow came to my work office to cater for weekly company lunches. They were very precise and friendly.
The food was great, pita bread, salad, beef, chicken etc. Great meal from great cooks. The meats weren’t that dry and had flavor in each bite. For a food truck, their catering lacked a bit. Overall, still pretty decent Greek food.

I was really hungry tonight guys. So hungry I thought I’d try this convenient food truck again. I really really wanted to have faith. The guy was friendly, which has never been an issue, said hello. I ordered my chicken meal and after I swiped and was about to sign with tip, he said «Oh I forgot, I was just told we don’t have any chicken anymore, sold out». 4 tries everyone. Just saying, my review stands as is.

I ordered the lamb wrap and fried artichokes and thought they were delicious. They use quality ingredients — chunks of tender lamb cooked just right. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The sauce was tasty. The guy taking the order was courteous and my order came up quickly. I would definitely come again.

Gow Chow catered a company event I helped planned and they were wonderful! Was a pleasure to work with.
Husband ordered their Gow Fries and even though we didn’t eat it immediately, their fries help their crunch really well!
I ordered the Lamb wrap and… oh man… sooo good. Will definitely eat here again! Thank you!

This food is AH-​MAY-​ZIIING! The first time I tried their food, I ordered fried artichoke hearts… one word… ADDICTED! They are very clean, perfectly spiced and served with the best Tztaziki I’ve ever had! The guys on the truck were very friendly and professional and you can tell they have a lot of passion for creating and serving the best quality food as possible. I was VERY impressed! I have followed them to several locations because once you try their Gow Chow fries, I promise you will dream about them at night! I have brought at least 10 of my friends with me to different locations to try their food because, honestly, it’s THAT good! Everyone I know goes totally bonkers over the Gow Chow Fries! Even my friend who absolutely hates lamb tried the Gow Chow’s lamb and was blown away. She loved it! Everything on this truck is made with the best ingredients and for the quality of food you get, the price point is incredible! I think most of us girls agree that we’d pay an extra dollar or two to NOT wake up swollen and bloated the next day from eating cheap processed meat loaded with sodium. Just sayin… This food is WORTH EVERY PENNY! #GowChowGroupie :)

Sorry guys, not really a fan for a few reasons.
1] The portions are small. I mean like ½ the size of a normal portion for the cost of food. I ordered a chicken wrap to find what looked like a single soft taco with lots of veggies and a few morsels of chicken.
2] Extra meat consisted of a very small portion of meat. Maybe 2 – 3 ounces? See the photo. All that for an extra $ 3?
3] Fried artichoke hearts. Not a fan. They aren’t fresh artichokes, rather the artichokes that you find at the store that are soaked in oil. When I got it, the order looked good and then the grease and oil inside started to seep out. The taste was ok, but would have preferred artichokes that weren’t marinated and pickled. They should have noted that on the menu. :(
4] Side salad portion was super small. It’s about half the box. Wish that they had a full salad portion option.
TIP FOR GOW CHOW: Would be nice to have your menu on their website vs. a description of each item with prices. This makes it harder to read and to take group orders. I had no idea the salad was a side salad vs. regular salad until it was too late!
The service was ok and friendly. I will give that to them. I didn’t hear rave reviews from my team, so we may just pass on this truck the next time they are here.

5÷5÷15: New truck! (at least for me here). Appears to be Greek /​Mediterranean food with a few modern takes like the fries…
1. Gow Fries With Lamb $ 12: So, for $ 12 I am expecting A LOT. That’s basically a meal of baby back ribs from one truck, or a Philly stuffed with ~1lb of steak from another, or even down the street is an all-​you-​can-​eat Indian place for $ 9 that’s pretty good. Yeah, $ 12 better be something nutso if we’re calling it «fries». Unfortunately, no, you get maybe ½ cup of lamb, fries, some veggies, and a ton of feta cheese. I think there were like 5 tiny pieces of lamb, and maybe ~5 more micro-​sized pieces. The lamb itself had good seasoning but was well-​done, though not too dry but definitely could have used far less cooking time. The fries are actually super good – maybe some of the best fries off a truck in this area! Super savory with great seasoning. LOVE the actual fries. But as a whole this thing is not a good deal with just okay lamb. I do like the sauce – kinda sweet. Could do with less cheese. Anyway, beyond the fries, given the price, not impressive. I’d recommend just getting the fries plain if possible and pair with one of their dishes. For the extremely good fries I give them slightly above average overall… 5.5÷10.
I’ll try one of their rice dishes next time. Hopefully it’ll be a better deal, then I can raise the score.

I love this food truck! I have never had lamb this good ever in my life! I usually prefer the shaved lamb or lamb chops and so I was hesitant because lamb prepared other ways has been gamey tasting to me. Yet, I took a chance … and their marinated lamb Blew me away! Now all I want is this lamb because it taste so good! I wish I could find a restaurant that could do it this way! Now tonight I ordered extra lamb and next time I will dbl my order! Even then I doubt I will have any leftovers because that’s how tasty it really is! The other items I have tried that rocked were the homemade baklava, pita bread and the fried artichoke hearts all done w care! Looking fwd already to visiting them again! Super happy Foodie ;)

I don’t get why the name of this truck is gow chow but whatever I’m sure there’s a quirky reason behind it. That being said I am very critical about food trucks. It’s a restaurant on wheels but I have found that the prices of the items served has increased with the popularity of food trucks, this is where my critical mindset comes in. If I’m paying more, the food needs to be worth more. The flavor and quality needs to be better than a brick and mortar in order for me to be okay with paying that price. I didn’t really find that with gow chow. Service was fast but the food was just kind of meh. It’s not like, «oh my god I am going to stalk this truck on twitter just so I can eat their delicious food again.» That’s what I look for in a food truck and I just didn’t get that here. I ordered a veggie wrap, artichoke hearts, chicken wrap and feta fries for the feyoncé. Total came to $ 27. That’s how much we usually spend a aqui’s mind you. The eggplant was a bit over cooked and there just wasn’t much flavor in my wrap. The artichoke hearts were flavorful but wayyyy greasy like there was a puddle of grease in the box. The only thing I was really satisfied with was the fries, I would of liked a little more feta for $ 5 fries though. The food was edible but not twitter-​stalk worthy, so I won’t be seeking this truck out in the future.

The food is the best I have tried as far as «food trucks» go! Lamb is spectacular and all the flavors blend perfectly. Definitely give it a try!

A gem of a food truck, one of the better one’s I’ve seen recently. I only got to try the lamb wrap, but it was pretty big and full of flavor. I added a bit of hot sauce to it for an extra kick, they described it as a buffalo sauce which was pretty accurate. The whole wrap was pretty large and was basically open faced when I got it. Their ingredients tasted really fresh and had quality flavor in it. I especially loved the olives and the lamb itself. The price of the wrap was $ 10 which was typical food truck pricing but it wasn’t too bad given the quality and sizable portions. The service here was very fast though there wasn’t much of a wait (they were at a company parking lot). If this food truck ever happens to be in your area, I’d definitely pay it a visit.

So far, this is the tastiest food truck I have ever eaten at. Prices are decent and the flavor is clean and fresh. Pita is served so perfect, warm and slightly toasty yet still very soft. $ 13 for a chicken wrap with rice and greek salad and an order of feta fries. Love that they show up at my complex too :)

Super Yum.

I got the chicken rice bowl and the chicken was definitely very tasty, but they’re kinda stingy with the meat for $ 9. I thought it was just bad luck my 1^st time but this was my 2^nd try and it was worse — I counted maybe 10 small chunks of chicken and ended up with a ton of rice left over. I ended up going to eat a 2^nd lunch afterward. I love supporting food trucks but I feel like I more for my money at Dish n Dash or even Chipotle.

This is my second time eating Gow Chow. It’s awesome. The food is fresh and delicious.
The pita and hummus, a special and not always available, is a must have.

I had the Vegetarian deal with grilled eggplant, chick peas, cucumbers, etc. It was very tasty. Loved it!

Hearing the name I was expecting something Asian. Instead it’s a Mediterranean truck. Made my own combo where I got the feta fries with lamb on top. The fries are thin seasoned and sprinkled with feta crumbles. THe lamb is the true winner here though. Nice tender chunks, seasoned really well. You have to eat this piping hot off the truck for best results

The chicken wrap (
) was tasty but a little small for the $ 9 price, I thought. It comes on naan (although it didn’t taste much different than a pita to me), and has seasoned chicken (which was a little spicier than I expected but not overwhelmingly so), cucumber, tomato, lettuce, onion, red pepper, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce. The ingredients tasted fresh and mixed together really nicely. It was a nice lunch but if I hadn’t had a dessert from another truck, I would have been hungry again by 4 pm. Still, this is one of the better food truck meals I’ve had and I would go back. Points for taking credit cards.
