First Focus specializes in Reading, Writing and Math for students from PreK through the 6^th grade. We teach Reading, Writing and Math in a small group format. Math training is available in three subject areas: 1) Addition-​Subtraction, 2) Multiplication, 3) Division & Fractions. Tutoring provides a personalized learning experience.

Starting in June 29, 2015, programming and technology camps will be available including Learning to Code, HTML & CSS, javascript, digital image editing, podcasting, digital presentations and managing a Youtube Channel.

Classes run parallel to the school year and are taught once per week in an after school program in a 2 hour session.

Summer and Holiday camps are taught in all subjects, in a one week camp session, Monday-​Friday from 9:00 am — 4:00 pm.

History

Established in 2008.

First Focus Learning Systems was formed in 2008 to provide reading, writing and math training to students in the grades from PreK to 4^th grade. The Company operates it primary learning center in Mountain View, CA. The programs are taught as an after school enrichment program that parallels the school year, students attend classes once per week.

Reading, Writing and Math camps are conducted during the summer and during school holidays, each camp is a 5 day, Monday-​Firday camp conducted from 9:00 AM– 12:00 PM (noon)

Meet the Manager

Vivian M.

Manager

Vivian is the First Focus Center Director, has been a teacher for over 10 years and has been at First Focus since January 2009.

Vivian manages the curriculum, schedules as well as the assessment process to place students in the appropriate class. As Center Director, Vivian insures that parents are informed of the progress of their child including periodic discussions on progress and achievements.
