The sign outside says Oakmont Produce. Inside you will find Russian, Israeli, European, and Mexican food and produce. Their $ 5 Burritos are at least as good as places that charge more.

New owner, old owner went out of business. Menu in taqueria changing, prices going up. Produce and goods selection makes it look like the new owner worked at milk pail and/or felipe’s.

I don’t usually enjoy cheap Mexican food because I’m obsessed about robust flavours and textures and many Mexican restos have food that’s bland and mushy. This place was actually surprisingly tasty and fresh! I had two asada super tacos with everything but rice on them and it was very flavourful and CHEAP! Like, really cheap. Each taco was $ 1.75 and came with fresh guacamole, salsa, beans and other really tasty things. Keyword here is TASTY. The asada had some grissle in it but was still well prepared. I’ve never associated tacos with ‘tasty’ until now. Go for it! Worst case is that you’ll lose $ 1.50 :P

Small mexican grocery store that has fresh produce, meat, and more. They also have pre-marinated meats and fresh pico de gallo. Their selection is quite impressive considering the size of the store.

This is a cute market that offers Spanish/Latin foods. Most of the items are overpriced, as that is to be expected with smaller markets. One thing I love is that they sell Inca Cola soda! I love that soda. I had it for the first time in Atlanta at the Coca Cola Factory in 2007 and I have been in love ever since. I am happy that I found a place that sells it in the Bay Area. I haven’t seen it anywhere else this far. The employees of the store are very courteous and try to be helpful.

The old El Super Mercado has gone away and has been replaced with Fernandes. Conceptually they’re still very similar with produce, butcher, canned goods plus a solid taqueria inside. Had birria, asada, cabeza, lengua, and pastor tacos. Also got a torta cubana to go. Meats are solid but the taco shells are a bit on the soft side. The decently spicy salsa unfortunately will deteriorate the shell if you dont eat them quickly. There are two tables inside and a small 4 top patio table with an umbrella outside. The new employees are super friendly. Tres Hermanos has some decent competition inside this strip mall now
