NEVER NEVER go with this company!!!
If you don’t want your car being grab and must call police to get your car back and don’t want to accept to ONLY pay cash to get your car loaded and don’t want yourself to be injured! Please don’t use their service!
This is my worst experience I have ever had in my life! My tie got flat and I called this company by searching online. I wait for over two hours, called three times to get the towing car arrived. I saw the tie was getting worse after the tow driver pull my car to the truck, so I told him I want the repair shop owner to check it. He immediately got angry and said he won’t load my car and jump into his car and left. I was scared and jumped his car to try to stop him. OH MY GOD, he just kept driving his truck! You never know how scaring it is! I jump off and saw him left with nothing I can do! Everybody saw he was doing it and warning him he can’t do in this way. He just ignored it and left. I called police and they came and said he insist only accept cash, otherwise he will take my car away until I pay cash! I confirmed with this towing company before I had their service they do accept credit card! Now, I don’t have cash on hand and because of that, I can’t get my own car!!! In order to get my car, I beg the repair shop owner to pay for me and then I pay them back. What an awful experience it is!
Again, if you want to have such experience in your live, go with this company! You will have a very ‘surprise’ experience!

GREG IS AWESOME! Greg towed my lowered car to my mechanics shop and took amazing care of my car in both loading it and unloading it. Most folks would not take such care, but Greg took the extra time to do it right — making me as a car guy really appreciate his attention to detail, care, and respect. Thanks, Greg!

Embarrassed to say my car ran out of gas on the 101. Pulled over, got out, prepared to start walking since I was close to the exit. But then I look up. Is than an angel? No, but its a big yellow tow truck. Really. Less than 2 minutes and no call needed!
Greg rolled down the window. I said, «You got any gas?» He said, «No, but get in and Ill give you a ride. Lets go get you some!»
Less than 10 minutes later I am back at my car, 2 gallons into my tank and ready to go.
Greg turns around and says «Have a great day!»
Really? No charge? Wow. Truly an angel among us.
Thanks Greg, you’re a life saver.

Horrible service. Bad and unreliable! Not nice people to work with. Do not answer calls. Does not return calls. No email. Multiple addresses including a PO Box with wrong zip code.

There’s really nothing more I can say that hasn’t already been said. I had a flat tire, car sitting in my garage, and within 1 hour of my call to Family Towing, Greg had the flat fixed and I was ready to roll… and at a reasonable price, too! Love these guys.

I had a flat tire today. Greg came to save the day. He’s a really awesome guy with great customer service. He paid special attention to my car since it was lowered and I really appreciate that. During the ride, he’s great during conversations because sometimes people have those awkward silences to their destination. He’s the go to man. keep up the great work.

I was parked at the Sunnyvale Public Library and my car battery was drained. Greg was helping another person tow her car and I asked if he could help me jump my car and he did without any hesitation at all– that is mark of a good person. Greg, your dad must be proud of you. Gregory was the guy that talked to me over the phone giving me exactly the info I needed. He arrived right on time and taught me a few things on about my car that I didn’t even know about. Highly recommended!!!

Not too long ago like two months Gregg Herrera came to the rescue for my wife and I. He is very generous and polite and friendly. I couldn’t post because I had no Unilocal as promised I highly recommend this towing companies they go to farth places to help in case something happens to your car. I believe they have great rates. greg is very friendly and accommodating, which takes the pinch out of knowing you still need to deal with your auto. didn’t hassle me about anything wrt my flat or spare, we just took off for the tire outlet. felt genuinely appreciated as a customer. thanks bud!

Called on Saturday for motorcycle towing. Greg was great and very professional. Towed my bike to a repair shop to fix a flat tire.

I cannot say enough good things about Family Towing.
I needed to have my car towed from a long distance (12 miles to Mountain View) and I received great service at a great price!
Greg was very knowledgeable, genuine, and professional when responding to my call. He answered all my questions on the phone, arrived when he said he would, and definitely exceeded my expectations. He loaded my car very carefully and even stopped to check the cables after going over a rough area of road to make sure everything was still in place.
I will definitely call Family Towing again and highly recommend this company!

Greg at family towing is a true professional! We made an appointment for a Saturday am tow for our antique car. He called to confirm and showed up right on time. Greg loaded our non-​running vehicle quickly and carefully without any hesitation. He helped us securely store it as well. Family towing charged us a reasonable rate just as quoted. We are really pleased with their service and highly recommend them to anyone needing a tow service in the Bay Area. Five stars all around!

Super friendly. Greg seemed like a really genuine guy. He was extremely nice and patient as we got everything sorted out with our car after a wreck. E even arrived at the scene where my wife wrecked before me — like 15 minutes from when I called!
Without a question I will call him if I need a tow anywhere near Sunnyvale or Mountain view.

I will definitely use Gregg for towing again. Fast, friendly, and has a flat bed.
However, I won’t be using the related family shop for repair work. His brother Manny told me I needed a new battery, which didn’t jive with what I knew about my vehicle and its behavior, nor with what my mechanic back home told me when I called him. He also didn’t seem to hear what I was telling him about the sounds it had been making when I tried to start it and instead tried to tell me the sound was coming my motor after the vehicle was running, which was completely irrelevant to the problem at hand.
Instead of letting them replace my battery, I took it to an auto parts store to have it tested and they said it was fine, it just needs a charge. They also uncovered the date sticker on the battery, which Manny said he couldn’t find.
However, Gregg was still nice enough to give me the tow rate for having it worked on in the shop, even though I decided against doing that after hearing what they wanted to do. He didn’t have to do that, and it made a not so great situation much more palatable.

It’s not often I have an experience memorable enough to bother writing a review, but my experience with Greg from Family Towing was truly stellar.
I had two tires go flat in a very remote area (narrow, one lane roads) and Family Towing was the only towing company that my roadside assistance was able to source that was willing to make the trip out. Greg made the trip out to Santa Cruz county from San Francisco, which naturally took some time, but from the moment of his arrival, he did his best to provide a great experience… something hard to do when you’ve been stuck on the side of the road for awhile and just want to get on with your day.
Greg was courteous, professional, and very personable. We had a long ride back to the dealership and we had a pleasant conversation. Once we arrived, he went out of his way to ensure all loose ends were taken care of and even offered some friendly advice for future roadside issues.
All in all a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this family owned towing service to anyone.

My transmission blew, I found them on Unilocal,they towed my car to their shop, got me a rental car, and then my car was fixed and the price was awesome!

Greg is the man. He came by my office late on a Friday night to unlock my car. He showed up in a flash, worked quickly, opened my car without a scratch, and was a pleasure to speak with all the while.
I wish all the best to this lovely family business.

These guys are great! I had work done on my Jeep Grand Cherokee last year and I was very impressed with the honesty and level of service provided by Family Towing.
It’s not easy to find a good mechanic these days so it’s refreshing to find a business like Family Towing. My Jeep needed some alignment and suspension work in addition to an inspection on the engine. The work was completed within 2 days (Very reasonable) and cost was less than what I had anticipated. Having had so many bad experiences with auto service shops, I expected to be up-​sold on parts or unneeded services. This is not the case with Bill and his team. They did the work I asked for and performed a quality job. I have recently moved further away from their business but will continue to take my vehicles to Family Towing for future repairs.

Family Towing is an incredible business. Greg and Manny were very communicative and flexible, making it as easy as possible for me. These guys are above and beyond for customer service! Greg took excellent care, with meticulous attention to detail, with my classic car. Rates were extremely reasonable, and I could not have been happier with the the service provided. Greg even finished the job while I had to hop on a work call. Everything worked out!

Nobody likes to have to have their car towed, but this was an extremely good experience.
I had done a stupid thing: I took a corner too fast and ripped a hole in the sidewall of my tire! My car has no spare, just an inflater and a flat fixer, so I was stuck!
I called a few tire places and found one that had my tire. I asked them to recommend a tow and they suggested «Family Towing.»
Greg, the driver, called when he was on his way, and did an extremely careful job getting my car onto the flatbed truck. He took similar care removing it from the truck. He was very professional, nice, and pleasant to deal with. I was also impressed by his ability to move my car easily with just one hand on the tire!
The price they quoted on the phone was the price I paid, and it was a reasonable rate.
If I’m ever unfortunate enough to need a tow again, I’d definitely call them.
