Established in 1995.

After working in various flower shops, I took the big jump to develop

my own client base. Design with Flowers is the outcome.

We are on various vender lists and have years of references from satisfied clients.

Meeting new people and being involved in their wedding or event is a privilege.

I love showing my clients other possiblities. Entering into the world of nature, I draw from it works which may in turn be comtemplated.

This year, the flower arranging style seems to be more relaxed, not a tightly arranged bouquet. Colors range from purple, green and white to

the reds and yellows…

Times are uncertain, but nature continues to give, reminding us of hope and renewal.

Carol from Design with Flowers did a wonderful job with my wedding flowers! I got married at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View and called Carol when searching for a local florist. We actually never met in person (due to my crazy schedule) and we did the consultation via phone and then I emailed her ideas I had for the flowers. She created a bouquet for me, designed and set-​up flowers for our arch, boutonnieres for my husband and his groomsmen, a long garland for our sweetheart table, and a flower crown for me to wear during the reception. Carol knows what she is doing and can understand a bride’s vision. Her prices are great and she will advise you on flower types that will keep you in your budget. It was a joy! Thank you, Carol!

Carol did a spectacularly artistic range of flowers for our recent wedding. She did arrangements for all the participants, the ceremony venue and the reception venue. She met with us, listened to us and was creative on our behalf. She was open to change and made some late adjustments and additions. Throughout the process she was available, responsive and delightful. Just get on her calendar with enough notice and be sure you meet with her. You will be pleased.

Carol is the sweetest woman you can meet. :) After our consultation, we decided to book with her right away (even after speaking with other florists).
At first, you might be put off by her casual e-​mail style. But DO NOT let that deter you! DEFINITELY meet with her!
A couple reasons we picked her out of five different florists…
1) She is actively engaged during the consultation — She listens to what you want, gives suggestions, asks questions and TAKES NOTES! Most other florists ask for your budget, throw out what fits and usually tells you your budget is too small.
2) Customer Satisfaction is her goal — Even if she doesn’t say it straight out, she is PREPARED and has pictures ready based on previous converstation, a Pintrest Board and printed pictures ready to show you.
I will be sure to update this after the wedding. :) So far, she’s great!

Thank you Carol! After meeting with Carol, our wedding flowers were one of the aspects I was most looking forward to. She was a delight to meet with and had printed out photos that I had sent to her of what I had envisioned so that we could discuss further. She also had many photos of other arrangements she has done including arches, bouquets, and table pieces to spur more inspiration. She was so flexible with all of my ideas. She was so easy to work with both in person and through e-​mail. Carol was one of my favorite vendors to with with (and we adored all of our vendors!). On our wedding day, I was so excited to see my beautiful bouquet, beautifully decorated cake, and all of the table centerpieces, each exactly as I had envisioned. I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you Carol!

Carol did the flowers for my wedding at Gamble Garden. She did a wonderful job. The bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres and the arch were all very beautiful. The bouquet smelled good too. All of us loved her works. She is a nice person to work with. Since my wedding was in winter, some of my favorite flowers were not available in that season. She tried very hard to find the right substitutes to meet my color scheme and «superstitious» requirement. :-) I felt so lucky to have her there on my big day. She even sent us the photos that her assistant took on our first look after our wedding. What a sweet team! I would highly recommend her to brides.

Carol really impressed us when she provided flowers for our wedding. She did all of the centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. We had a quite different, somewhat modern style in mind (succulents, artichokes, ferns) and she pulled it off beautifully. She was very flexible and kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. We were so happy we decided to have her be a part of our big day!

Wow!!! Carol did the flowers for my daughter’s wedding two weeks ago. Everything was perfection. Carol’s creativity is remarkable, and everything she did was beyond all of our expectations. I have had the pleasure of working with Carol twice. The first time was for my wedding, and she did an impeccable job! We communicated extensively via email and in person. Carol was always very prompt in her responses, patient in her listening, and creative in her feedback and ideas. All of her designs were exceptionally beautiful for a reasonable price. She was my favorite wedding vendor to work with!
The second time I worked with Carol she supplied my etiquette program with 200 corsages and boutonnieres with only a few days’ notice because our original florist had to cancel at the last minute. All of the flowers were gorgeous, and she came through for us when we were in a horrible bind.
In both instances, Carol has been professional and accommodating, all the while being friendly and sweet. I have loved working with her, and now I’ll never go to another florist again!

My sister and I came to Carol after our previous florist had quit one month before my sisters wedding. Not only did Carol reply promptly to my email plea, but she met with us quickly and was eager and ready to get started.
She surpassed all of our expectations, and is a good business woman. We weren’t nickel and dimed for every detail, she was very fair in her pricing.
The flowers were gorgeous! She was very helpful the day of the wedding, going to various rooms at the hotel to help grooms and family member put on corsages/​butoneers.
I’m glad our original florist dropped out, Carol was incredible!

My husband and I used Carol for our wedding this past Labor Day weekend and were very happy with how everything turned out. With very little thought and planning done on our part before our initial meeting, Carol managed to turn our jumbled mess of thoughts and obvious lack of preparation into a beautifully thought out collection of floral decoration ideas. From the arch design to the centerpieces to the bouquets and boutonnieres, everything looked individually lovely and charming in their own right, but also wonderfully coordinated from a big picture perspective.
With respect to our personal interactions, Carol was also always very prompt in returning emails and phone calls and always did so with a friendly and cheerful spirit. During our two meetings, she was very laidback and made sure to ask about any ideas we had, but also helped guide us towards a final design with a bunch of her own ideas when it was clearly needed. For anyone reading this, there should be no doubt that Carol knows what she’s doing when it comes to floral design and that you will be in good hands if you choose to work with her.

After interviewing 4 other florists in the area and being seriously underwhelmed with all of them, Carol was a breath of fresh air. She is AMAZING. Not only is she super friendly and extremely prompt in returning emails and phone calls, she is incredibly talented at what she does and very reasonably priced.
Carol designed the flowers for my wedding this past Memorial Day weekend and I could not have been happier with the result. She listened to what I wanted and was able to enhance it to be more than I ever imagined it could have been. I received tons of compliments on both my bouquet and the arrangements — everyone loved her work. Looking back through my photos, I keep noticing small details of how she tied everything together to create a wonderfully cohesive overall display.
All in all, I LOVED working with Carol and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone who asked.

I found Carol on Unilocal and she’s just such a gem! She did my wedding flowers, and throughout the process she’s professional, very friendly, efficient, and clearly has a talent for what she does. If you are looking for a trustworthy florist with great taste and minimum stress, you should definitely give her a try.
For our first meeting, I told her that I couldn’t meet in her office because of my schedule. She not only agreed to meet in a coffee shop in downtown Mountain View, but also brought a whole box of magazines and prints so as to brainstorm with me. We sipped coffee and had a good chuckle while talking over my wedding flower design together.
Following up, she did a sample trial to show me a few bouquets to make sure that her work captures my vision — and I was so happy to see the result. Those flowers look amazing and exactly like how I have dreamed my wedding flowers to be.
On my wedding day, she showed up perfectly on time, got everything set up and done very quickly. She even stayed to make sure the bouquet works well with the table arrangements of my caterer.
Carol has a gentle and warm personality, and full load of talent. I really liked working with her and would recommend her to any of my friends!

My wedding was on June 29th at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View and a florist was not included in a package with the venue, so I went on Unilocal and saw the reviews for Designs with Flowers and took a chance and I am extremely happy I did! I was looking for a florist with creativity, originality, & reasonable pricing… And Carol was a complete package! I met and spoke with Carol on several occasions about my vision, to share photos of inspiration, and she took everything into consideration! I needed my bridal bouquet, toss bouquet, (2) bridesmaid bouquets, many boutonnieres, many corsages, flowers for wedding arch, and flowers for the aisle. On the Day of the wedding, Carol was early to the venue, extremely helpful with giving every one their floral pieces, & patient with set up and all her work came out very classy, elegant, and gorgeous!
If you are looking for a very creative florist whose love for her job reflects in her work, please go visit Carol, it will be one of the best decisions you could have ever made!

I was crazy and did my own centerpieces for my wedding through wholesalers at the SF flower mart (would not really recommend this, though, way tooo much stress), but did have the sense to hire Carol for my bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres. She did a wonderful job with the bouquet. It was beautiful, and surprisingly still alive and gorgeous when I got back from my mini-​moon 5 days later. Was so excited Carol was able to get exactly what I wanted for the bouquet, including coral peonies that were no where to be found at the SF flower mart. Her prices are very reasonable.

I’m so excited to review for Carol. She is incredibly attentive so be sure you already know what colors you want, and what your vision is. Even if you don’t know, she is a good guide and is highly creative enough to help with your true vision.
She is also very patient! I think I changed my mind about a couple of things more than once, and she was always accommodating and supportive. She’s a great listener, and communicates by email very well. She followed through on everything we had discussed, and did more than I ever expected. Everyone still talks about the décor and flowers. The quality of the flowers were also fantastic.
She went above and beyond. She bought a few things wholesale for me which we later added onto the contract, but was also very supportive of me buying my own finds. You will not find a vendor like this. Others will usually make you go with what they buy, so they get the money in the end. She didn’t try to go over our budget, and created a very soft, beautiful and romantic atmosphere with her work.
This woman is a true gem, and I will definitely keep her in mind when planning other events.
