History

Established in 1980.

Dr. Johnson has been practicing dentistry in Mountain View since 1980. He graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry utilizing a Navy scholarship and served at the Naval Regional Dental Center in Norfolk Virginia. While in the Navy, he was asked to rotate into various specialties where he received advanced training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and Periodontics. Those experiences and his relentless pursuit to improved patient care through continuing education courses and advancing technologies, have helped Dr Johnson develop a quality oriented, esthetic, and comprehensive dental practice. Dr Johnson prides himself on his professionalism, quality of patient care, and utilization of cutting edge dental technologies in caring for and educating his patients.

I have been going to Dr. Johnson for years. His staff is wonderful, friendly and encouraging, and Dr. Johnson is knowledgable, and seems to know when to do what’s needed when it’s needed. I tend to be a bit of a wimp when it comes to dental work and everyone is understanding and takes it in stride. All are positive and have a sense of humor which helps when I get tense!

Dr. Johnson has been my dentist for over 13 years. Highly recommend him and his practice: Very professional, charges are in tune with the work that is performed. He is very through and accurate with his diagnosis, but recommends procedures to be performed at the right time. If it is possible to delay the procedure, he will work with you. this comes in very handy towards the end of the year when you may have used up your dental benefits and/​or you need to save more for the procedure with FSA.
I recently brought my children to his practice, after getting frustrated with their pediatric dentist who was charging us an arm & leg for every little procedure and insisting on procedures when they were not essential. Dr. Johnson and his staff is exceptional with younger kids and when I discussed the recommendations of the pediatric dentist with Dr. Johnson, he did another evaluation and a very much accurate diagnosis on which procedure could wait (since we are dealing with baby teeth and not permanent teeth). My kids are very comfortable with his staff (who even offered the kids a ‘toy’ !)
Yonna Naidu who manages the front office does an excellent job. She is excellent at following up and always works with the individual to accommodate the scheduling challenges (very useful when you are trying to juggle a full time job, school schedules, extra activities .)
Our family recommends this dentist 100%. you won’t be disappointed.
