$ 299 + taxes for a room. Quite quiet. Clean premises, bkfast is basic but is okay. Free Keurig in the room. Free Wifi connection on second floor is spotty.

Love this place! Feels like home away from home! The breakfast is amazing! The workers are so nice and helpful! Will definitely stay again

Avoid unless no other options at time of booking. Hotel is reasonably clean and generally safe but the materials and craftsmanship of rooms is lacking. Looks like they tried to rehab but very shoddy work. Room had wall switch for a jacuzzi that didn’t exist, grout in bathroom looks like an amateur did it, and faux wood material were chipped through out. I had a 2 night stay and my room wasn’t cleaned

The only hotel that had a room left for us. Its very small and looks like a bnb but they have all the amenities. Our room came with microwave, fridge, and 2 sinks. Air conditioner blows cold! Highly recommend this place

Nice rooms but extremely poor customer service this past Saturday night. My friend was treated horribly on all accounts. Not cool.

Relatively inexpensive suite with average amenities.
My family of four spent a Saturday night in a suite here. For about $ 140 before taxes, we got a two room suite with a king size bed and a queen size foldout couch. The AC worked, the room was clean, and the furnishings were in a good shape. The water pressure was adequate and there was plenty of hot water.
Complementary breakfast started at 8am. There were eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, and so on. The coffee was bad but the rest of the food was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
They hotel ran out of pillows, so the kids got the pillows off the bed and my wife made due with a seat cushion. We got a half-​hearted apology from the front desk for that, and an offer of an extra blanket.
The batteries on the room lock ran out and we were locked out of our room. The staff fixed it within five minutes, and the front desk apologized when we checked out.
This is an expensive area to stay in, especially if you want a suite. I think we got what we paid for except maybe for the pillows. I wouldn’t rule out staying here again but I think I’d look around for alternatives first.

Been here a few times. Recent visit was a nightmare and definitely will NOT return. Was given a room without a jacuzzi tub as that’s what I get usually get. Clerk never explained what was available. Went into room and seen regular shower in bathroom. Called front desk and explained to lady. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Says we can’t change it, it was too late. We were in the room for 5 min and touched nothing. Confronted her in a professional manner in person and then she threatened me, the CUSTOMER, SHE was going to call the police !! Great customer service Crestview. Guess what? You just lost a customer and others as well when they read this. Oh yea manager is non existent. Emailed him/​her and called with NO RESPONSE. THANKS AGAIN. Take my business elsewhere. Stay away from this place with there cheap remodel and microwaved eggs for breakfast. … p. s. the basic rooms are $ 130 now. Must be all, that expensive Ikea furniture !!

This hotel hovers around a 4 star. It has 4 star pricing and a lot of four star amenities, the service from the front desk is more indicative of a three star. Not that the staff was bad or unhelpful but there was a limit to their knowledge base.
The rooms were comfortable, although the pillows were really bad. If you are someone, as I am whose neck gets kinked up by pillows regularly, bring your pillow. The rest of the rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. Refrigerators and microwaves and Kerig coffee available in the room, so too are irons and hairdryers. Didn’t use the telly, but it looked as if it had a full cable line up and one premium channel.
Full continental breakfast, not the scaled down sort you get at most places and we never came up short by waking up late.
All in all a bit on the high price side but comfortable so not worth complaining about. All the hotels in this area are extremely expensive. There is currently (spring 2015) construction across the street. Our room faced the construction and the windows were insulated enough that we didn’t hear them.
I do recommend they get their elevator looked at the certification hasn’t been done since 2011 or so. If that bothers you, take the stairs or ask for ground floor.
I’m giving it three stars and would give 3.5 if I could because it meets all standards but exceeds none. I would stay again, definitely.

I lived in this hotel for a couple of months, on and off.
Some of the rooms are recently renovated and a bit nicer than the others but all in all, this is a good place to stay if you are in the area.
I also lived in the Hilton across the street. It doesn’t have the restaurant /​bar that the Hilton has, but there are many great places to eat locally. Rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, parking was abundant and overall I had no problems staying here.

I was working on a local project and recently took a tour of the hotel and also met the owners. I’ve posted recent photos from my iphone as the hotel has been completely updated (modern finishes/​décor), including new double pane windows throughout. It is my impression that all negative reviews have been addressed. It is 100% non smoking hotel, I looked at a room that faced El Camino at 11am and could not hear the traffic with the new windows, completely redone. The rooms are new, modern, and large with personal touches. The owners are really lovely and have invested so much time, money and effort into their business. I would categorize this as an independent, locally owned, boutique hotel. In addition they serve a complimentary hot breakfast (rotating menu) daily. I think this is a great option for folks traveling to Silicon Valley that provides an affordable option without sacrificing convenience, ammenities and a nice room to stay. Easy access to major freeways and travel to Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Los Altos, Sunnyvale. Also less than 10 minutes to Great America and the New 49ers Stadium. After touring the property, and reading past reviews, I felt inclined to post a recent review. We’ll definitely be doing business with Crestview Hotel.

Stay Away! They charge you for early check in. Unwelcoming. Unprofessional. Rip off.

Next to a construction zone. Couldn’t sleep after 5:30am when they began in the morning. If you have to stay then ask for a room facing the parking lot. When I tried to check out a day early to find a different hotel their policy is to be notified 24hr in advance for an early checkout. Make sure to reset the alarm clock. Not a place I would prefer to stay.

i payed cash for my stay and they charged my credit card too. i asked for a recredit but they won’t do anything. I had to call the bank and file a dispute. RIDICULOUS management and unreasonable price for old and dirty hotel rooms.

Nice and clean. Only $ 119. on a Saturday night! Jacuzzi tub in the room. Fun had by all!

I stayed here for a few days. It’s really close the Sunnyvale border off of El Camino which has everything. It’s a little sketchy right by the hotel. Free wifi and parking.
The hotel seems a little bit older and has kind of an Indian smell. It does have a jacuzzi bath that is separate from the vanity area. The switch for the bathroom light is outside the bathroom by the bed. The tv is a fairly new flat screen. The pillow are huge and hard. Overall not bad considering it’s under $ 100/​night. I’ve stayed in worse for that price.

After I saw other people’s reviews, I think I was pretty lucky. When I checked in, the front desk girl was super nice. I stayed there for two nights, I met three front desk staffs, but only the one helped me checking in was friendly, the others do not seem like they care much about their customers. I know they have breakfast, but I was too tired to wake up for it.
The room was super clean, wonderful & modern. The jacuzzi was fantastic. I like how the room has two sinks. One for kitchen stuff and the other one for bathroom. The room also has many lights and lamps. I hate some hotels only have two lamps on the desk. I met the maid couple times, she smiles back, but she wasn’t rude neither super friendly.
The only thing It may not be prefect is the noise from the street and parking. My room is closer to the parking, but I still can hear people talked downstairs next to their cars & every car passed by.
Overall, I still think this hotel still deserve 5 stars because the price is good and the room is decent. Of course, a jacuzzi in bathroom. Yeah! I would recommend this hotel!

Pretty sweet deal for booking last minute! It was about $ 70 a night for New Year’ Week weekend, but then again, who the heck would want to celebrate that in Sunnyvale? I’m sure if this was in the SF, it’ll be booked, and add in an extra zero. Anyway, we arrived late driving up from SD. Hotel is right next to a little plaza, it was a little shady. But inside wasn’t too bad. The rooms were at least cleaned, small kitchenette area (which was great), mini fridge. Big CA king bed, and sheet appeared to be clean. Bathroom looks horrible though, they really need to remodel the bathroom, the Jacuzzi tub was gross, we didn’t bother to use it because we imagined all the people doing gross things in there, so we only showered. The fan was horribly loud. In the morning, our hotel room was facing the back of the small plaza’s back area, they were really loud, and the place does not have double pane windows, so I heard a lot of nose during the morning time. Also, downstairs had like a studio/​little apartment. Somebody rented it out for NYE and had a party til 3am, it was really loud as well, but it’s New Year’s we didn’t mind. Rooms are paper thin, I heard the next door neighbor doing the dirty deed, and then turning on the Jacuzzi (exactly why we didn’t use it) I knew they were doing it because the bed creaked in a rhythmic way. (ugh) But overall, place wasn’t too bad, a little old and needs some updating, but we enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast in the morning was pretty good-​scramble eggs, bacon, choices of starch, yogurt, cereal, cottage cheese & peaches, pancakes. It was pretty good for this place. I enjoyed their breakfast. OOH, free wifi too!
Staff was friendly, I would probably book again because it was convenient, cheap, confortable and had free (real) breakfast!

After staying in a hell-​hole in Winnemucca the Crestview Hotel seemed like a Ritz-​Carleton.
The room was clean and spacious and the jacuzzi was really nice after that long drive.
There were a few things that keep me from giving this place five stars. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows felt like rocks. I had to get in the jacuzzi just to make my neck feel better. The controls to turn the jacuzzi on as well as the bathroom lights were outside the bathroom. I found that rather odd.
The complimentary breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about. Prepackaged breads, limp bacon and lukewarm scrambled eggs. Typical hotel breakfast fare.
Still, I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a room for a few nights. It was terrific and the price was definitely great considering the size of the room and amenities.

Unilocal, you really need to start offering negative stars. And to make all of you understand how crappy this place is– WE DIDN’T EVEN STAY HERE. Our desired negative-​star review is exclusively due to interactions with their staff.
Made a reservation online for a couple of days in July, looks to be a great place– a suite with free breakfast, separation at night from our kids. We’re excited.
We change our plans slightly, and call the hotel to amend the reservation– to add two more nights. The lady who takes care of this for us quotes a price that is exactly the same as our first two nights. Great!
She calls back in about 45 minutes telling us that we actually have to pay $ 20 more per night for the added nights. Now, I wouldn’t mind so much if this was told to us from the get go… but she told us one thing and called us back later to say it wasn’t so. That’s not professional.
I called back and asked for the manager. Got transferred to the wrong extension. When we finally get a call back from the «manager»… IT’S THE SAME DAMN LADY WHO CALLED US EARLIER WITH THE PRICE HIKE. My wife had the line of the day– «It’s your choice, lose $ 40 by giving us the original price you quoted or lose $ 400 when we cancel.» Ah, she’s such a righteously awesome lady.
Just to make sure the manager hadn’t died or wasn’t locked in a sensory deprivation tank, I’ve called three more times asking to speak with him, and surprise, surprise– nothing doing.
So, I call back to cancel our reservation. Front desk flunky knows who I am already, plus my phone number– must be written down on their «a-​hole problem customer list» already. I say we’re outta here, and he says, «I thought you were waiting for a call from the manager first.»
I have been waiting, son, ALL DAY. And now, not only do you lose our business, but hopefully others’ as well.
This place might be nice (we’ll never find out) and we were quite optimistic about staying here– but holy Jesus, if this is the level of customer service you get, I am pretty damn shocked. Besides, by now, if we stayed there, we’d probably get the Ocean’s 13 treatment of infectious disease lining our bedsheets and horse semen put into our breakfasts.
In conclusion, I feel a quote from Silky Johnson is appropriate:
I hate you, I hate you, and I don’t even know you and I hate your guts. I hope all the bad things in life happen to you, and nobody else, but you.

It’s kind of shady to be a hotel that’s main ad is a jacuzzi and free wi-​fi in every room, don’t you think?
What are these other Unilocalers talking about?! Although by the end of my stay, I was satisfied enough with my stay and would not have chosen another (more expensive) hotel on El Camino Real to stay at, it was probably only due to the unbeatable proximity to my relative’s house, and certainly no thanks to that fact that they:
–start cleaning up the continental breakfast about half an hour before official close (9:30am);
–are renovating, including partly painted ceilings and ripped up carpeting;
–the 2^nd floor hallway smelled of smoke (thankfully the room did not)
–had no gym, pool, or office amenities;
–had a room wall that seemed paper-​thin where you could hear the cars outside at night very distinctly
–there was a full-​size small jacuzzi in my bathroom –sure this sounds great, but then you start thinking about all the things that may have happened in your bathroom.
Pros:
–reliable free wi-​fi;
–It seemed a little run-​down, but in no way shape or form was I afraid of getting mugged or propositioned;
–within walking distance of a Safeway, near a lot of other hotels you could move to if you change your mind;
–room service was very prompt (I left the sign out for lunch, and it was prepped when I came back);
–had a stove, microwave and can-​opener (but no cookware) in my room;
–offered a free dinner (I was never around to hazard that one);
–laundry options (didn’t try this either);
–they were renovating, so maybe next time it’ll be nicer and newer.
Note: I am being an ungrateful guest, since I didn’t have to foot the tab, but it is also of note that this is one of the most reasonably priced hotels in Mountain View.
