Description

Specialties

Clocktower is a small artisan coffee roaster, best known for brewing up fresh coffee and espresso beverages that have been expertly roasted on-site daily.

History

Established in 2000.

Clocktower is an independently owned and operated coffee roasting company. In the beginning, two families came together. One deeply involved and experienced in the coffee roasting business, the other with a rich history of public service and small business ownership. The goal? To serve the freshest and most delicious coffee beverages in the heart of Silicon Valley, and to create a warm and relaxing place for a community to gather and linger. The result? Not just (dare we say) the best cup of coffee in the Silicon Valley, but a fun place to meet your friends, a comfortable place to sip and relax, and a great place to find unique gifts for every occasion. In 2007, Clocktower expanded to it’s second location just down the road, at 425 N. Whisman Rd — where we continue our tradition of quality and great customer service. With two great options in your neighborhood, why go anywhere else?

Meet the Business Owner

The Bean Crew C.

Business Owner

Nima’s the manager. the roast master, the smiling guy behind the counter. Over 15 years of experience in the coffee business — brewing, roasting, making friends! Managed many cafes over the years… you may remember him from Palo Alto, or elsewhere. Having fun managing three little kids at home and two jumping businesses in Mountain View!

Jody’s the bean counter and sometimes jumps behind the register to have a little fun with the customers. You may sometimes catch her and Lorraine setting out the new merchandise they just discovered at the latest gift show.

Then there’s Joe. What can we say? He’s the man. Everybody who knows him loves him. Some remember him from his days in the PAPD. He’s certainly run a few businesses of his own — trophies, t-shirts, real estate… still active in the aftermarkets. These days what really keeps his pulse racing is the Soap Box Derby — and a great cup of Clocktower Coffee. Will this guy ever slow down?
