Mr. Capitina graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara and went on to the Santa Clara University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1988. While attending law school, Mr. Capitina participated in Santa Clara’s International Studies Program.

Mr. Capitina currently serves as a Judge Pro Tem of the Santa Clara County Traffic Division, as well as serving on the arbitration panel for the County of Santa Clara for various civil cases.

The primary focuses of Mr. Capitina’s practice are the fields of Family Law and Criminal Defense, which areas account for 90% of his case load. Mr. Capitina has handled hundreds of adversarial hearings and trials in these two areas.

I am grateful that Mr. Capitina was nearby and was able to take on a complicated custody case that I was going through. My son means everything to me, and Mr. Capitina was very patient and direct in explaining what was happening. He was committed to the case, choosing to appear in court only days after heart surgery, when he could have sent a substitute lawyer in his place. He was also very understanding of my financial situation as a single mom and allowed me to finance his fees without interest. I am grateful for his help.

I was looking for someone to help me with a living will and they were recomended to be by a lawyer I once use for a divorce so I went to them for a living trust and I was so relaxed, they are so friendly and make you feel relaxed to talk to them. Very good on calling back right away and getting everything done when they said it would be done. I would highly recommend them you will not be disappointed with them.
