Specialties

Acorn Chinese Learning Center offers both Mandarin and Cantonese classes.

The Young Children Program (ages 1– 5) uses the multi-​sensory approach to teach young children Chinese. Children learn through activities that are designed to stimulate their natural language development. (Max 5 students per class)

The Elementary & Middle School+ Chinese Program (ages 6 — 17) offers after school & Saturday classes in Simplified or Traditional Chinese. The curriculum is comprised of reading, writing, and conversation. Students are placed in class according to their Chinese level. (Max 6 students per class)

Acorn chinese learning center is a great place if you want your children to be immersed and learn chinese in a safe environment. The teachers are very patient and make learning chinese fun. They teach both cantonese and mandarin, which is hard to find. Most schools only teach mandarin, but not cantonese. Each class has new and fun learning materials for the students to quickly absorb what is being taught. I give the highest recommendation to this school for any parents wanting their children to learn chinese.
Pros — patient teachers, fun and educational school materials, parents are able to sit in the back of the room during class, reasonably priced.
Cons — a lot of class times are during work hours, so it can be hard for me to take my children to some classes.
