A homey, little restaurant with the best breakfast food in possibly the entire Wyoming Valley. Even when it’s busy on the weekend from 9am-11am, the food and service do not suffer. The owner/cook knows exactly how to run a successful business, and frankly, that’s one of the reasons why I patron this establishment. She knows and respects her clientele, which is a rare thing today. I could fill the Internet with Junie G’s praises.

I’ve been here 2 or 3 times. Food is pretty good. Service was only okay. One of the better places to eat in Mountain Top

This place is always slammed during the breakfast rush, and understandably why. There are other places for breakfast in the area, but none come close to the quality of Junie G’s. My personal favorite is the scrapple, it is perfectly done every time.

Great food, friendly staff and good prices. What more is there to say?

This place serves up some fine tastin’ breakfast food. Eggs. Omelets. Home Fries. Pancakes! There’s a Greek influence to the menu too and that’s a big plus in my book. If you can get by the dingy digs and semi-crusty wait staff, then this place is a sure bet for a great breakfast or lunch.

I’ve tried this place on a few occasions… and I’m officially giving up hope. First of all, it is ALWAYS dirty. There is garbage on the floor and plenty of tables that are empty but not cleaned. Secondly, I walked in for lunch at noon on a Saturday and could not get anything I had requested. Chili? Out of it. Chicken caeser wrap? Out of CHICKEN. How a restaurant runs out of a primary ingredient that early in the day is beyond me. Needless to say, I was out of there. I wasn’t going to sit in a dirty place and eat food I didn’t want. Luckily there are plenty of better options on the mountain.

This is a great breakfast/lunch visit. Courteous service, friendly atmosphere and most importantly, great food. The price of an omelette is equal to a cup of soup at the new soup and sandwich place on the mountain. Don’t pass it by. Great value.

Junie Gs is a little unassuming restaurant in a tiny strip mall. But boy is their food great. i had the Reuben and my boyfriend had the gyro. They were perfection and they serve home made potato chips so you can give the fries a miss if you’d like. Yum yum yum.

This restaurant is definitely a great value and a really fun place to eat. Whether I stopped in for two of their whopping pancakes for breakfast, or a sandwich off their lunch menu, I’ve always left happy. This place has really good service and an even better omelette!
