Mountain Memories Bed and Breakfast is located near Lake Norfork with boat rentals minutes away. Walmart and shopping is a short five mile trip to Mountain Home. Rooms feature luxury bedding, wireless internet, television, dvd, movies, electric fireplace, and a private deck or patio. Most rooms have jetted tubs, heated bathroom floors, heated towel racks, and a view of the lake. Your three course breakfast is served in the dining room with special attention given to your diet requests. Complementary soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, and night time dessert are included in your stay.

Weddings and special events are individually planned to create memories to last a lifetime. Outdoor and indoor settings are available for intimate events.

History

Established in 2003.

In 2003 Mountain Memoires opened with two rooms in my private home and a cottage which was a guest house featuring a full size indoor swimming pool. The house and guest house were begun in 1990 and completed in 2003 when the bed and breakfast opened. The original building was destroyed during the ice storm of 2009 and a new structure was built on the original site in 2010. The all new Mountain Memories was designed and built to provide guests with a better way to stay while visiting the Ozarks. There are now three suites in the main house with one of them being a two bedroom suite. Going Green is a goal of the bed and breakfast with geothermal heat and air and recycling of most products. Many of the vegetables and herbs served in the summer and fall are grown in the on site garden. The cottage has been updated and still features a private indoor swimming pool.
