We have a variety of characters who are ready to come and perform programs, do walk-​arounds, Christian ministry, and more. The possibilities are endless! We are able to do face painting, animal balloons, comedy magic, party décor, ETC. — something for all of your entertainment needs. History

Established in 1994.

Over 20 years ago Barb Field discovered a love for the art of mime. She began performing at some local community events and churches. Gradually over the years, she has added several other characters that she portrays and some other individual performers who come along to help at times. BJ loves to do children’s events, Prof. Womboggle amazes families with her interactive performances, Dr. Merry Heart reaches out with a smile and a laugh where it’s most needed, the Queen of Hearts and Princess Kate delight the young girls at their birthday parties, and people are still wondering if the Living Statue really is alive, of course … the MIME hasn’t spoken a word. We have also added a few Face Painters and Balloon Twisters, and have recently started providing some eye-​catching Party Décor.

Business Owner

Barb Field is the owner and primary character in BJ and Company.

She is a NYS certified teacher, wife, and mother to eight grown children. Her clowning career had it’s beginning on a two week missions trip to Mexico when she discovered a love for the art of mime. Since then she has participated in numerous mime intensive training weeks and has done countless performances and workshops. Ten years ago she attended her first clown training week. There she combined all her mime background with a new clown face to develop her first characters, «BJ» and «Prof. Womboggle». Last year, when she began working with Clowns on Rounds at three Schenectady, NY hospitals, her «Dr. Merry Heart» character emerged.

Her love for art has inspired her to do thousands of beautiful face paintings and so many new balloon creations. These have been delighting children and adults everywhere.
