History

Established in 1985.

Since taking over for Dr. James Murphy in 2010, Dr. Casey Andrus at Valley Vision & Optical has been the leader and preferred provider of quality vision care products and personalized eye care services to our patients in Mount Vernon and the surrounding areas. Our experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision examinations and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and problems.

Business Owner

Dr. Casey J Andrus is a primary care Optometric Physician with over a decade of experience in family eye care. He earned the competitive Health Professions Scholarship in the US Air Force and began his career in 2003 serving patients as the only Optometrist at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi. In 2006 he relocated back to the Pacific Northwest with his family, where he expanded his experience in family practice Optometry. Dr. Andrus stays busy with his wife and five children, serving in his local church, and volunteering in the schools and the community. Areas of specialty include: computer vision, pediatric vision, hard-​to-​fit contact lenses, LASIK co-​management, and more. Dr. Andrus is a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington; The American Optometric Association; and Vision Source, the premier network of Private Practice Optometrists.
