Our business is brand new to the area. Established April 26, 2013 our goal as the UpStart Art Mart is to bring a unique venue to downtown Mt. Vernon. Our venue hosts 50 local artists of all different varieties under one roof. Our shop has photographs, pottery, handmade pursues, jewelry, paintings, drawings, hand painted gourds, and so much more. We are growing every weekend taking usually thirty to fifty new pieces, all created locally, and the first Friday of every month May thru October we have live art and music outside on the sidewalk. All volunteer run, funded by the City of Mt. Vernon, to nurture our growing artistic community! Please stop in to see us!
