We enjoyed our stay. We did feel that the room was small. Have to brag on housekeeping they were more about customer service than the managers … no joke. We loved the pool and the coupons for 3 drinks. Seems to me that y’all could pick food that was a little healthier and not cut corners about variety and food quality. Shouldn’t matter if the hotel is in Mount Vernon. IL or LA California Quality should be the same in my opinion. Just an observation.

This is a new location, and is dog friendly. The folks at Drury seem to have designed the property for dog owners in mind, with large grassy areas for walking and bag dispensers for cleanups. The rooms are large, the beds(at least the one I slept in) are comfortable with plenty of pillows. There are numerous power outlets to charge all the electronics we bring with us. The rooms are soundproofed pretty well, but you can still hear the whining of the dog next door when the guest goes out. The front desk clerk mentioned that sometimes they have to remind owners not to leave their dogs in the rooms for 12 hours while the owners are out doing whatever. They have an evening reception during the week with food, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. The Quick Start breakfast at all the Drurys is one of the better breakfasts you will find. The value for what you pay is incredible. I stay at Drury Inns whenever I can. There is a vacant lot next to the property that would make for a great dog park…

Absolutely crowded. Do not get sucked in with the allure of saving money with Drury Inn’s free supper and booze. The lobby is not sufficiently designed for me to wield my luggage through the door and to the elevator while pre-teens literally run around. The headache of dealing with this crowded hotel is not worth saving money. Go somewhere cheaper and treat yourself to a sit down meal at a restaurant. Also, the surfaces in my room were dusty.
