We specialize in providing all your dental needs in a friendly, calm environment. We believe in patient education so will always work to keep you completely informed about any dental procedure that is needed. We do general cleanings, digital x-​rays, and check-​ups for the entire family, as well as cosmetic veneers, bonding, implants, root canal therapy, extractions, teeth whitening, in-​office or take home, crowns and bridges, oral lesion detection, sleep apnea appliances and anti-​snoring devices. We also provide nitrous oxide sedation for nervous patients.

History

Established in 1985.

Dr Mui started his dental career as a Captain in the United States Army. When he was discharged in 1981, he worked in another dental office but in 1985 decided that he wanted to start his own practice. The first office opened that year on Euclid Avenue in Mt Prospect. The practice continued to grow and in 2007 Dr realized he needed more space to continue to provide the quality of dental care he specializes in. So the new office opened in October of 2008 at our current location at 221 Prospect Avenue. We are excited to continue to grow and bring the newest technology to our patients!

Dr Mui graduated from New Trier High School in Wilmette in 1969, Loyola University in Chicago in 1973 with a BS in Biology, and got his dental degree from Northwestern University School of Dentistry in 1977. He had served in the reserves of the United States Army while in school, so went on active duty as a Captain in the Dental Corp for 4 years. Dr Mui was stationed at Fort Knox, KY where he quickly was singled out for his excellence in dental care. Upon his honorable discharge in 1981, he moved with his family back to the North Shore of Chicago where he grew up. After a few years working in a dental office, Dr Mui decided it was time to open his own practice, which he did in 1985. He has been practicing at his new office, 221 W Prospect Ave, since 2008.
