In today’s economy, a beauty school is a great inexpensive alternative to a salon, and Eric Alexander is the best! I’ve tried several of the other schools in the surrounding suburbs of Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights, and nothing compares. The music is always good and the service is excellent. Sure the services take a bit longer than in a salon, but that’s the price you pay for such deep discounts! These are students and not professionals.
The staff of teachers really know what they are talking about and have always been very helpful to make sure I leave with what I want. I’ve gone to several different students and have yet to have a bad experience.
The location is a little difficult to find at first, but I would absolutely recommend this school.

I got my hair cut here a few years back and whoever my stylist was did a TERRIBLE job! I asked for a trim and a few ‘choppy layers’ and she gave me something similar to an uneven bob and cut at least 5 inches off. I was so dissatisfied; I went elsewhere to get it fixed and the stylist told me whoever cut my hair did a hack job! NEVER will I go back to this place EVER again… you should not be allowed to cut someone’s hair if you cannot comprehend what a TRIM AND A FEW CHOPPY LAYERS looks like!
