So ordered on the phone and they said it would be 20 minutes… 45 minutes later called to check in. The young girl on the phone said it was still at the restaurant and the driver left… You can come get it and we will refund you your money. I was beyond ticked off but left to go pick it up. As I was driving there the delivery driver was at my house with only half my order. So still had to go get the other half and liars k owe how long it’s been in there got box. So went and picked it up and the manager Ted was very nice and refunded our money. Get to the house and started to eat my wings I ordered and they were way to hot to eat. I ordered mild and that’s what my ticket said but these were super hot… So hot I could not eat them. The burgers for my kids were burnt. Where I appreciate getting my money back I would appreciated editable food even more. This is the first and last time I eat or order from this establishment. Good luck

I came here out of desperation between meetings while on the road. I wouldn’t have stopped had the Thai place answered their phone, and am I glad they didn’t! I’m not usually a burger person but again, in a hurry and desperate. This is about the best burger I have ever had! The burger is huge, juicy, and flavorful. The service was outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking out the best bar food around!

While food was outstanding, we had lunch at 2pm when almost no one else was dining and the two servers needed to be hunted down when we needed them. They seemed to be on break at the bar!

Delicious pizza, great beer selection, and really really courteous staff! They have really good specials. On Mondays the pizza is half off. If you get it extra thin and extra crispy it’s the best

Have tried this place a few times, the food has always been great with awesome drink specials. I’ve always had good experience with the servers and bartenders who are attentive and friendly. The only thing that left a bad impression on me and the people I dined with multiple times was, I’m assuming, the manager. We witnessed him talking down to his staff multiple times on the floor in front of guests.

How sad. Tonight I stopped by Draft Picks on my way home from work to pick up something to eat. It was 8:15. I park, walk in, and look at the menu. I decide on the Fish and Chips. On Friday special for $ 9.95. Regular $ 12.95(I think). I smile(I’m a smiley girl), and I let the frowning hostess know I was ready to to order. She looks at me and then points to the other hostess next to her and says«She’ll take your order.» So I look at the other girl and waited a few awkward seconds while she yawned at me with her bored eyes. Maybe it was her glasses. But I don’t think so. Anyway, my plan was to place my order to go and have a beer while I waited. Which sometimes turns into two, and if you end up sitting with cool people it eventually leads up to more than your to-go order cost while it sits in the Styrofoam next to you getting cold. «I’d like the Friday special fish and chips, please.» «Ummm. You don’t get the special price if you have it to go.»(With a little too much bad attitude in her voice delivery). «Why?» “Because it’s only if you eat here.”(More ‘tude). «I’m going to have a beer while I wait.» «That doesn’t count». I automatically look at the packed bar and restaurant(Hawks game). And I think to myself, «Where in the f*ck would a person here by themselves sit and eat a whole meal enjoyably anyway»?? The place was packed for the game. I don’t WANT to eat it here. I want to go home and eat it there. Does it say that on the menu? I didn’t check. But the experience with uninterested and somewhat of an «I dare ya to challenge me on this» group of hostesses, it’s enough to keep me away forever. Truth be told, no sour grapes, but the 6 times or so I’ve eaten there in the past year hasn’t been too consistent with service or quality. But tonight cliched it. And why on EARTH did it NOT occur to me to order it for there while I had my beer, ate a french fry from it, and then ask for a to-go container? I would have given it 1 star but figured it would go into the«not recommended» reviews. Honest question ~ Why would a business turn away someone who chose to give you their money? A paying customer who made a point to go to your restaurant? Over a stupid $ 3.00. And a customer willing to have at least one $ 7.00 draft craft beer. More than likely 2 of them. I ended up leaving rather disappointed. It became a matter of principal. Too bad. I only live ½ mile away. Oh well.

I don’t have a lot of experience eating baby back ribs, but I really enjoyed the full slab they have on special on Saturday. The BBQ was just how I like it, sweet and tangy. The meat came off the bone easy and was tender. The ends were a little burned, but that did not detract from the enjoyment of the ribs. The Coleslaw was a little bland, but the crinkle French fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Choice of pita bread or garlic bread. I chose garlic and it was OK, not my fav way to have. Nice sports bar atmosphere. Super nice server, Tanya.

Needs more sports décor on the walls and might go back in the future. Also, play the basketball games and not the music, duh!

Were trying to find a place to watch the AFC championship game. We originally were headed to a place about ten minutes away that advertised as a sports bar — they didn’t open until 4, game started at 2. Pulled up Google Maps and found this place. When we pulled up, the parking lot was PACKED. I was afraid there wouldn’t be anywhere to sit but when we walked in we were greeted and sat and one of the many open tables(the bar was packed but the layout of the restaurant offered lots of room to sit back and unwind) No matter where we sat, we had a view of the game. So many TV’s. Aesthetically, I was already obsessed with the place. Our server, Olivia, was extremely attentive. I watched her run from table to table — it was busy but we never felt ignored or neglected, she was great at her job. Food: We got Saganaki as an appetizer. Can’t complain there. Perfect gooey cheese, perfect golden brown crust. Just on point. I’m a soup snob and the French Onion Soup surpassed my expectations. BEST French Onion I’ve had. The broth just tasted fresh, the cheese and bread weren’t overpowering, it wasn’t just onions with a touch of broth. It was great. It was a little greasy, but as someone who lives off of homemade broth, I understand how hard it can be to skim the fat. I personally think that it adds flavor. The Cabo chicken sandwich was a chicken sandwich. Nothing extraordinary, nothing below par. Just good — but at half off(one of their their Sunday specials), just good is good enough. As my boyfriend said, «at half off, this is the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life». One other minor thing that really impressed me was their attention to little details. Commercials during the game were blocked out with music, which was then turned off when the game started. It’s a small thing but makes the restaurant experience more enjoyable than listening to the same commercials over and over again(though I hope they skip this detail during the superbowl). My only complaint? That this place isn’t closer to home, because it would my go-to. A sports bar with an elevated menu, great ambiance, and awesome customer service. 5 stars.

My 3rd time here was Tuesday night. I came for the Hawks game and to try their half price Mexican food. I ordered the steak quesadilla and the chicken tacos. The quesadilla was terrific and had plenty of steak. The chicken tacos were bland, dry, tasteless and the tortillas were on the hard/chewy side. I ate my entire quesadilla and left a taco and a half on my plate. Still hungry, and having previously ordered and been unimpressed with other appetizers I ordered the loaded tot basket. They could had just brought me a jar of giardiniera. The tots came with bacon(seems to be all on the bottom) a mild amount of cheese and a good pile of giardiniera on top. However, the giardiniera took over any and all flavors. I could only eat 20−25% of the tots before I gave up. It was as if they had poured all the juice right out of the jar onto my tots.(And I like spicy) In the future I know I just have a very limited list to order from, but I am tired of throwing away money so any food that is below par in the future will be sent back. I’ve extended grace up to now but thankfully paying for sub-par food

I stopped here for a business meeting and it was considerably different this time! I was the first to arrive so it’s not like the people saw a big party and welcomed us as potential dollars in their pockets. I was the only person walking in and was warmly, enthusiastically greeted by one of two hostesses. I told her that we were going to have a party of 8 and needed a somewhat quiet place to meet. She walked me around to several spots to see what I thought about each. When I picked an area that was in the back and didn’t have tables set up, she and a guy(the manager… owner???) pulled together some tables for us. We were introduced to both servers who would be helping us with our drinks and meals. Everyone couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating and attentive. I was much more impressed by this visit and feel whatever the reason for the change in the employee’s attitudes since last time I visited, this time my experience was what I would expect from a place that wants to stand above their competition.

This is my local bar! I can walk here(I don’t but I could…)Since moving here 3 months ago I have stopped in here about 6 times. This my Unilocal friends is my suburban headquarters /base of operations. Lets review: THEGOOD: Awesome beer and food specials EVERY day! And the food is plentiful! 10000TV Screens! Looks to be frequented by the locals. Cool owner who walks around and is friendly. A big parking lot THE Not so good: Whats up with the hostess being so dry and humorless… almost rude. Must be those thick rimmed glasses. You’re supposed to meet and greet people at the door. Service with a smile goes a long way baby cakes. Overall a nice bar to hang out or come watch some games, eat well and get inebriated. SHAKEANDBAKESEALOFAPPROVAL! Hipster infestation: 5… Feel the wrath of the hipster hostess!

Had a job in the area and came here two days in a row. Vibe can only be described as depressing. Hostess had the same scowl on her face both days. Food was bad, service was worse. Might be an alright place to catch a game as they had a ton of tvs.

Turn the frickin’ music down! If you think you’re a dance video club, don’t serve food. Came in to have a late bite and the music was so loud we couldn’t converse across the table. Food was pretty good. But when you can’t hear what someone is saying to you from 2 feet away, that’s a problem. Oh, and the asshats playing the schizophrenic playlist were oblivious. Has all the trappings of a good sports bar… and the potential… just keep those clowns away from the music and the volume control.

Spacious: for you to spread your fatass out. Two hundred tv’s. All sports. Awesome. Pop music jammin. Ke$ha. The taps are solid: Lagunitas, Revolution, des chutes, ballast point. Great start. Bourbon: Knob, MM, bullet, WR, nothing to write home about but good. Signature MacnCheesers: elbow Mac, creamy, and sausage… The sausage is soooooo good. Spicy, toasted, damn! The MacnCheesers comes with garlic bread… or pita. Had the GB. TASTY. Gotta come back.

We’ve been waiting to try this place out since we noticed the name change!!! My fiancé and I shared the zucchini side with sauce. It was so yummy! They were juicy but still crunchy somehow! I ordered the chicken pita and it was delicious! It was the perfect amount. A little messy, but I dug right in! My fiancé had the hangover burger which was huge! He said it was really filling and very tasty. The atmosphere is very open and inviting. The owner and all the staff are so friendly and excited to talk to you. Overall it was just really welcoming. Our only complaint is that we thought there would be a bigger beer selection because of the name, but there wasn’t more than 15 draft beer options. We’ll be coming back, but it’d be great if you could offer more options for beer!

Wife and I(live down the street) stopped in today for dinner and to check out what owner’s Jimmy and Spiro, did to the Ol’ Artemis/Black Cow of days gone bye. HD/TV’s seemingly ubiquitous, and my personal favorite, a HUGE6-screen, probably 5’x15’ TV !!! Can’t wait to see the Blackhawks play both NY teams this week on that bad-boy! Wife had the Southwest salad, said it was fine. I had the Garlic Parmesan Wings. Very good, truly jumbo w/a nice twang and a perfect portion of creamy sauce. Recommend adding more parmesan from a table side shaker for the full effect. Menu has 6 salads to choose from, wraps, ‘Sweet 16′ Appetizers,(11) ½ pound burgers, pizza, soups(hopefully kept the recipe from The Cow!), a south-of-the-border selection, numerous(16) sandwiches, sliders, ribs, rib-eye steak, shrimp, perch and self-proclaimed ‘Signature’ Mac ‘N Cheese by Draft Picks.
