History

Established in 2011.

Interior designers Gretchen Rhodes, Martha Seay and Jeannie Sparrow have created The Coleman Collection, a home furnishing consignment shop unlike any in the area. Their combined 75 years of design experience won’t go unnoticed in both the quality of inventory, and the store’s aesthetic.

I had a wonderful experience at shopping for a ‘new’ (to me :) couch at the Coleman Collection. The shop had an amazing selection of high quality furniture, the majority of which was in next-​to-​new condition. I even saw some very nice pieces that still had the original price tag attached! If you are looking for a beautiful, quality piece of used furniture, this is a great place to go! I ended up buying a Micheal Thomas sofa for less that $ 600 — with a little online investigation, it looks like a got a couch that retails for over $ 5,000 — what a find!
The customer service was excellent — the woman working on the morning that I visited was very helpful and even provided a referral for a moving company that gave me a good rate on delivery.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and will be back!

I love this furniture consignment store. One never knows what can be found here. They are located in the corner of a strip mall on Houston Northcut. The staff are friendly & helpful. Prices are very reasonable & the store is easy on the eye. Laid out very well with daily changes depending on the current consignment market. I am a frequent visitor

What a nice place/​find this is! The gal running the store (believe she is the daughter of the owner) is beyond helpful and accomodating. Though we didn’t end up getting the kitchen stools we were looking at (ran out of room in our car for the drive home to DC!) we found the shop and service to be excellent. A must for our next trip back to SC. No junk, nicely arranged and very fair pricing!
