HUGE smoothies for a CHEAP price! And the staff are very helpful!

Smoothie was ok, service and organization needs a lot of help. There is no reason for me to have to see the same person at two different registers and have the smoothies made and just waitin for people to pay. Do it the starbucks way where I order and pay at the register and then it is ready they call my name and hand my me drink so I can leave.

Smoothie was ok… service was kinda slow… however the staff was pretty nice. They have a wide selection of smoothies to choose from.

The smoothies are awesome and the staff very friendly. Ann remembers what we want every time we go in, love it!

Not bad. They need more smoothie spots in the Charleston area.

I considered throwing my smoothie in the garbage on my way out. I had never been to a Smoothie King before but I figured I could get some resemblance of a healthy smoothie here. On my way back from West Ashley I started thinking I could go for some refreshing fruits and maybe veggies to counteract what I had put into my body the night before. I should have got off at Calhoun and went to Dellz but my brain was still functioning at 75 percent so it was too late, I was already on the bridge to Mt P.
I knew Tasi was closed on Sunday so I decided to try this place. I walked in and started looking over the menu. After not really finding what I was looking for I asked if they had any green smoothies. The girl said they have a green tea smoothie when the other guy behind the counter quickly corrected her saying that I was looking for something with vegetables in it such as kale or spinach.
They let me know that they don’t really do those types of smoothies and recommended I go to Tasi. To which I replied that they were closed. This is when I should have left. I figured since I was already there and the only customer in sight, I would suck it up and order something. The Acai Adventure was the one I decided on. Once I saw them squirting flavor shots into in like a french vanilla coffee at dunkins I knew this wasn’t going to be good.
I get to the counter to pay and was shocked twice. Once by the fact that a medium smoothie was almost $ 8 after tax and then again when I saw this giant cup coming my way. The medium must be a 32 oz Styrofoam cup. The large is even bigger — insane! It tasted like artificially flavored frozen sugar water… gross. I didn’t want to be rude because the workers were actually very nice, so I took the smoothie with me instead of discarding it that very moment.
They have the calorie content listed inside but I didn’t pay too much attention. It’s good I didn’t drink that thing because they are loaded with nothing with garbage. Calories, sugar, sodium, and fat are the main ingredients. Check it out for yourself (

The Hulk Strawberry has 1928 calories in it — that’s appalling! You can go to McDonald’s and get a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, a large Fry, AND a large Coke and that is 1550 calories total. That’s 378 Calories less than the one smoothie from Smoothie King… disgusting.

Good smoothies but the price is crazy high! $ 6.59 for a medium size smoothie.

After eating at Bacco, decided to get a smoothie to bring home to my daughter. Tasted like a single peach slice was blended with a cup of ice, profit margin here must be killer. Totally bad, do not go!

I hate to give a negative review, but this place needs a serious overhaul. I usually get the low carb smoothie because I watch my sugar intake and I’ve had someone just make me a regular smoothie because they were out of the flavor that I wanted. They lied to me and told me it was low carb. It was extremely disappointing. I’ve gone there on numerous occasions because it’s the only place I can get a low carb smoothie and when certain people are working, I just turn around and leave because they never make the smoothie right. Someone in management needs to sit these employees down and tell them to follow the instructions that are given from corporate so everything is consistent.

The best smoothie I’ve had in the Charleston area, pretty close to Jamba Juice. Since we don’t have a Jamba though, I can gladly go to this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good smoothie. Finally! A good smoothie in Chucktown!
