Howell and Christmas

They put forth a very good effort in the beginning. I was very impressed and confident that I made a good choice in helping through a difficult time. However, once the claim was accepted I noticed that the effort on their part had dramatically decreased. My disability checks were not the correct amount. I called the office on four separate occasions. The same response was received every time. They would tell me «don’t worry we are working on it» In the six months I was out of work they never corrected the problem. This should have been an easy fix, since they had all of my wage information. Second, medical request for the doctor’s office went unanswered. Again I had to call and call and call before they finally sent out a letter. My instincts told me to replace them, and I really wish I would have. In my opinion they were just looking for the largest possible commission check while doing the least amount of work while my health and well-​being was never a consideration.

I used Howell and Christmas for a case that had a lot of red tape. Reese Stidham, the paralegals, and even Gary Christmas managed my expectations. If it were not for them and their staff, My family would have lost everything. Their hard work lead to what I believe was a success and my family was able to stay in our home. I read the gentleman’s post above and believe me if I ever need an attorney again, I will be calling Howell and Christmas. Thank you for your service.

This lawyer is disgracefully greedy and unprofessional. Sends letters of rejection to potential clients filled with bold text advertising their services at the same time telling them that this lawyer won’t help. When calling for an explanation, the uninterested secretary will pass you off to a «paralegal» (likely just another secretary) with next to no legal knowledge who gives the same nonsense back to you no matter what you ask.
