History

Established in 2003.

Charleston Flutist, LLC was started by flutist and owner Regina Helcher Yost in 2003. After many years of performing weddings, Regina decided to start her own business. Regina chose many other fabulous classical musicians to join her ensembles (all receiving degrees from the best music conservatories in the nation and all with lots of wedding performance experience). The musicians from Charleston Flutist, LLC have also performed in the best concerts halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein in Austria. The rest is history!

Business Owner

Regina Helcher Yost is the owner and flutist of Charleston Flutist, LLC. Regina is a flutist in the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Music Charleston and the Colorado Music Festival. She is also the Adjunct Professor of Flute at Charleston Southern University. Regina has also been a member of the St. Louis Symphony, Honolulu Symphony and Knoxville Symphony. Regina studied both at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Indiana University. She has performed in Carnegie Hall many times and has also toured with the Minnesota Orchestra and the Atlanta Chamber Players on their European tours.
