Took 11 days to submit a claim to insurance and 20 days to send me a bill an. When the insurance company denied a different claims for«too many units» and said to resubmit it – Allergy and Asthma claimed that the insurance company said the balance due is the patients responsibility and sent the bill the very next day. Since that visit I have had gone multiple times without being told once that the insurance company was not accepting the claims. You would think Allergy and Asthma would bring this to the attention of the patient – or perhaps they are intentionally billing this way to be able to charge more instead of the negotiated rate which is about 2⁄3 of what they are billing. I will likely be taking my business elsewhere given their lack of organization and concern for their patients.
