Wee Sprouts Daycare takes place in my friendly, loving home in Mt. Morris, IL. My home has a room dedicated strictly for diaper changing and nap time in which children are provided their very own beds.

Across the hall from the bedroom is a very colorful and inviting playroom filled with toys, books, blocks, balls, puzzles, dolls, small motor manipulatives and much more.

An attached three season room allows us to practice large motor skills regardless of weather conditions. The kitchen and dining area are open and roomy allowing children to be entertained by the squirrels and birds enjoying a snack out the picture window during our meal times.

The back door opens up to a large gated deck with plenty of room for ride on toys and shooting hoops. Beyond the deck is a backyard full of fun. It is equipped with a sandbox, swing set, climbers, slides, and play houses.

Business Owner

My name is Annette Yount and I am the owner and operator of Wee Sprouts Daycare. Wee Sprouts Daycare is located in my home at 402 West First Street, Mount Morris IL.

Although I have only been in the Licensed Daycare business since 2007 I have raised four children and am a grandmother to two grandsons. I never realized how rewarding it could be to help working families by providing a safe and warm environment for their children to grow.

I am licensed through the state of Illinois and have the capacity to care for up to 12 children under the age of 12. I am CPR and First Aid certified along with doing a minimum of 15 hours of training in various fields of child development per year.

I have completed training in dealing with special needs children. I am experienced in dealing with diabetes, food allergies and administering breathing treatments.

It has been the most satisfying and fulfilling career I could have ever imagined. When I first began doing daycare in my home I had no idea h
