History

Established in 1987.

I launched Appearances For Men Grooming Salon in an Executive Office Park at a time when the industry was going large and unisex. The Executive Park location for a men’s salon was unheard of, compared to the mall-​based, franchised, unisex barbershops that proliferated the late ‘80s marketplace.

Jolene is the best hair-​cutter I have ever had. She is so accurate that I typically go two months before I need a cut. What really puts her over the top is her consistency.
We’ve all had the experience of getting a good haircut somewhere only to return and be disappointed. Well, for the last 20 years I’ve never had anyone but Jolene cut my hair and I’ve never had a bad cut. Even my wife never complained about my haircut!

This was my first visit to Jolene, but I’m sold. She did a great job for a fair price with superb attention to detail. Just a heads up, she is a cash only shop but there is a bank with an atm in the lobby so no big deal. Most places botch my cut, no such problem here. She figured my head right out and did a spectacular job!
