The founder of Wellspring Prep Academy started this business as an elite academic program for 3 – 5 year olds. Her goal is to promote student learning through fun, exploration, discovery, and creativity. Wellspring provides an alternative for parents who are looking for a new and innovative approach to education.

Nzinga M.

Business Owner

Nzinga Teamer is an 18 year public school teacher with both Memphis City Schools and Metro Nashville Public Schools. Ms. Teamer has also been a English as a Second Language (ESL) consultant for the Board of Education in Metro Nashville Public Schools. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Human Development & Learning from the University of Memphis, a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Freed-​Hardeman University, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from David Lipscomb University. Ms. Teamer also holds endorsements in Administration/​Supervision and English as a Second Language for grades PreK-​12. Nzinga also has both her professional teaching license and administrative license in education from the Department of Education from the Stare of Tennessee. Ms. Teamer resigned from public school in 2014 to implement a traditional educational program with innovative teaching methods.
