History

Established in 2004.

Dr. James L. Ducklo has been a leasing provider with LensCrafters since July of 2004. Originally located in Antioch at the Hickory Hollow Mall, then expanded into the Mt. Juliet Providence Marketplace in 2007. After the sad closure of the Hickory Hollow Mall continued to practice in Mt. Juliet. Continuing his growth in the Optometric Communtiy has recently expanded back into the Nashville market and is also currently treating patients at the Mall at Green Hills.

Dr. James L. Ducklo is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Belmont Abby College in North Carolina where he completed his undergraduate degree in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College Optometry 1989. Dr. Ducklo has been a lease holding provider with LensCrafters since 2004.

Unilocal removed my review? I’m unsure of why if I wrote a bad experience and Dr complained? Anywho, if I write a bad recommendation there was a good reason like the RX was only good for one yr when most drs write a eye exam for two years. Contacts are written for one year. Possibly had to return glasses because the pupil was not correct when measured. At any point I do not recommend this Dr. And I’m allowed to state my opinion and give a review when displeased. Unilocal should be accurate if a consumer is displeased with the service and I was. It should not be only good reviews when a person has a issue with the business. It should be honest reviews. This is America last time I checked? I should be able to state my experience and opinion.

Great doctors, quick and nice, however my only complaint is that they don’t open their doors even a few minutes early. I find it rude to schedule appointments for the minute you «open» and then make your patients wait outside instead of the waiting room. However they’re open on Sunday’s so what can you do?

State of the art equipment. Friendly staff. Dr. Ducklo was very open about the process, even showing me the images and the science behind all the testing. Highly recommend.
