This place rocks! I am so impressed. The school was only built 10 years ago and is extremely clean and well designed. Since it is only a Primary school (K, Grades 1 & 2) they really cater to younger children. The teachers seem nice and knowledgeable. They also partner with the Hildebrant program that allows for onsite before and after school care!

Fairly awful. Received a letter last Summer that DSE has failed to meet state set standards in academics for the THIRD year in a row! Our teacher was good, but non-​communicative in general. In one year (her first grade year) my daughter went from loving reading to loathing it. The state-​published ratings and reviews on
don’t lie. This is a low-​rated, struggling school. If you have an option, choose another school for your kids… and perhaps another district altogether.
