Unexpected stop in resulted in a great night. The beers are cold and the food was solid. Great selection of wings. Nice mix of townies and first timers, all ages. Good time, definitely recommend!

This is one of my new favorite restaurants out near Lancaster. I’ve been here on two separate occasions(once after a wedding and once after church). They have indoor and outdoor seating which was really nice for the summer. I would classify this as a divebar, but definitely one of the nicer ones I’ve been to. Both times we’ve went here the place wasn’t smokey which is very nice to enjoy a meal and not coming out smelling like smoke. The food is simple tasty bar food which is hard to complain about. I’ve tried the wings here which are decent. They have a million different flavors of wings(maybe not a million, more like 150) so it’s been fun to try them out. I had jalapeño cheese wings last time I was there. We also split a pitcher of beer and had some fries for an appetizer. Just a neat place to hang out with some friends. I’ll definitely be back here again, and if you like bar food at all it’s a great place to check out. The price is hard to beat at this place and providing food and drink for a very reasonable price makes it hard to say no to making a trip here.

Truly great bar food. Really spotty service. Avoid on Wednesday and Sunday nights.

Honestly, I was kind of surprised with Beanie’s. When we walked in for lunch, I didn’t set the bar too high. There were quite a few regulars perched at the bar, so we opted for one of the high-top tables. I found the waitress to be very friendly, so I don’t agree with other reviewers there. She was very pleasant when taking our order and stopped by several times to make sure we were okay and that the food was prepared correctly. Beanie’s has a large menu, with a ton of options for wings, but I decided to try the buffalo chicken wrap while my boyfriend had the patty melt. They have a few wrap choices(white, wheat, cheddar jalapeño, garlic, etc.), which was nice. I chose the cheddar jalapeño, and we both said we were fine with chips as a side. The food came out really fast and it was very good! I hate to say it, but I really didn’t think it would be. Beanie’s is definitely a dive bar, with a ho-hum ambiance and kind of dark lighting; however, the chicken in my wrap was cooked perfectly, the buffalo sauce had a great spice, and their blue cheese dressing was on point. My boyfriend devoured the patty melt and said it was fantastic(to me, it looked like a heart attack on Texas toast). He had three beers and I had a Diet Coke… surprisingly, the Diet Coke was more expensive than any one of his beers. Craziness! Their prices are so low. I’d recommend to someone for a casual wing and beer night out that won’t break the bank.

I have had better burgers at my son’s elementary school cafeteria. Very dry and no taste at all. Tried to save review without ranking but it wouldn’t save. doesn’t even deserve one star. Won’t be going back again. Try Shanks in Marietta or Top That in Palmyra for great burgers!!!

I’ve been here a few times, but you have to go at least 101 times to try all of the wing flavors. Sorry, but I like my wings. I only have a few problems with this place. For one, location. Hard to find a parking space and even harder to get out of the small parking lot. The inside, too small, I know it looks like they converted a house, but there isn’t a lot of seating available. Service is a bit slow, but then again, it usually is on Wednesday Nights for the $ 4.25 wings special, and when they say special, I mean it. Tonight, I was adventurous. I got wings with Peanut Butter on them, reminds me a little of the Peanut Chicken at some Chinese buffets, but much stickier. Believe me, a ton of napkins will help. They serve Corn Nuggets as well but I didn’t get them tonight. The wings are usually big enough to go without sides, but still, you never know so I got fries. Personally, if you want great wings in Lancaster, this is the best place. Just be very careful with what flavor you choose or be adventurous and pick something you’ve never tried.

came here again last night for pool league. the best feature of this bar is that it is non-smoking which is great so that i can finally get out of the house. according to DH, beer is on the cheap side. depending on what the night’s special is, you can get a decent beer like blue moon for $ 2/pint. the food though leaves a little to be desired. i had a blt and french fries. bacon on the blt was cold and the bread was soggy in parts. DH’s bacon cheese fries were ungodly salty. when i came here before i got the cream of crab and it was nearly inedible. and yes, like someone else remarked, the monday night trivia was deafening! i’m not anti-trivia, just turn it down a few notches for the love of god! moral of the story: decent non-smoking bar with pretty cheap prices… just eat before you come.

Okay local bar. Huge selection of wings that are pretty good. Cheap drinks abound. But please, get rid of the overly loud, seemingly miserable, Monday night trivia DJ. Just let me watch the game!

My boyfriend and I used to frequent this place when we lived in E-town. We just visited last night for some wings. We were a bit disappointed from what we remember. They must have gotten a different cook b/c for 2 dozen wings we waited almost 45 minutes. REALLY? And the wings were overdone for my boyfriends liking, I on the other hand didn’t mind it so much. Not saying we wouldn’t go back for another shot, but it probably won’t be anytime soon. Sincerely bummed :(

I used to visit this place often in the late 80’s, ok so I am old but my mind isn’t gone yet. I like to visit old haunts once in awhile. This place has memories yet it changed hands about 10 years ago. Seems the menu selection didn’t change much though. It is still a greasy grub type menu selection. Pool playing is still the norm with darts and a few video boxes to boot. One thing that does stand out the new owner turned the refrigeration to a cooler setting. the Previous owner thought beer was to be served warm, Hooray for COLD Beer! Too many selections of Wings if that’s your ticket this place is ridiculous. Parking is around back but lighting in the evenings could be improved.

Well have to agree, poor poor service bartender co mplained and was unattentive. Yet food(wings) were good.

I go here about once, maybe twice a month — why? Cheapest beer in town. Its a local bar with a pile of locals stuck in the 80s. You’ll see mullets, and probably hear the occasional homophobic/racist comment, but you can get a cheap glass of beer and corn nuggets! The menu is all greasy bar food, but if that is up your alley — go for it. You want cheap? Here it is. You want quality? Go elsewhere.

They had $ 1.25 dozen wing nights with over 70 types of wings. Cheap assed beers(beers that came in a mug shaped as an ass), and the crappiest service in the world. Come for the wings, wait awhile, it’s worth it, but order a few dozen ahead. They also have a pair of pool tables. It’s a awesome evening under one roof.
