In Mount Dora there is a little candy shop just east of the main strip. If you blink you will miss it because the store front doesn’t have any giant signs directing you to it. It does blend in with the other stores with only the hand painted words on the glass doors and windows. When you enter in to the store you will see a large display of Belly Jelly jellybeans and a smaller set of shelves with all different types of candy bars, gum, taffy, etc. Further up you will have a small seating area with ice cream, gelato, icies, shakes etc. The staff was quick and friendly. They handled a large crowd of people who had shown up after the parade of lights and there was no back up of delays. We were in and out within five minutes. The cost was very reasonable.

Was packed on the day of the Spring Street festival. Long line, but service was quick. The cupcake we ordered was nasty. Hard, seemed stale with a tasteless strawberry center. I brought it to the attention of the manager(maybe owner?) who offered to replace it. I declined and tossed the cupcake. Pricing was rather high, too. It gets two stars for the service and offer to replace.

Cute little sweet + ice cream shop. I had the pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese/pumpkin frosting. Yummy! They had a nice selection of truffles, baked goods and ice cream as well as a small list of lunch items, like sandwiches.
