I don’t know how this place is open??? Just disgustingly dirty, took for ever to seat us, they had no high chair for my baby & they gave me a booster seat so she could fall off she had to sit in my wife’s lap. The staff was a bunch of thugs & the food was terrible. Please don’t come here.

If you hate someone tell them this place is great. Our food was undercooked. I asked the waitress for it to be cooked more and she just walked away and told us the manager would be right over. While we waited while she rang up everyone, the waitress went to random tables talking about how the cooks messed up our food. We didn’t want to talk to a manager, I just wanted cooked fris.

We have never had a bad experience here. We have been going a cpl times a month for a little over 6 months now. Idk if that has anything to do w/it or not. We went there tonight for dinner and I got the strawberry lemonade. It was SODELICIOUS! I loved it. Also got the Big Boy burger, of course. One of my faves on their menu. My son got breakfast, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. The eggs and hashbrowns are never greasy or nasty here. I’ve been to Denny’s where their eggs/hashbrowns were literally inedible– due to being so greasy. Our server was named John and he was very nice!

Two stars seems fair. Our waitress Bianca was really sweet. The food however, was not. Everything was cold. Everything except the milk which has sat out on the bar counter for at least an hour. Upon my trip up to the breakfast bar, my boyfriend was pointing out long hair in the food. And the insulation hanging out of the ceiling over the tables. When he got his pancakes, on the first bite he spit them back into his napkin. He said they were gross and he was done. And he’s kind of a fatty so he knows/loves his pancakes. Needless to say it was the last thing he ate. We then searched Unilocal to find that this place is a known dump. Almost everybody gave this place one star. Stay away from known dumps. They’re known for a reason. You can do better.

This place has always been terrible and will continue that way. This is the third time that u have ordered from there and their food has made me sick. I ordered the classic Big Boy with chili cheese fries. Other times I order either pancakes or something else. No matter what I order though, I get sick. I’m never going there again and will tell everyone my experience about this place.

Can you give a place zero stars? I will give one star for the host, who was very warm and friendly. Other than that this place is a joke. It took my waitress 10 minutes to remember I had ordered a drink and another 5 to bring it out. I then proceeded to wait another ½ hour for my burger and fries — not exactly a difficult order — to come out, but, oh, wait — it never did! At this point I had to go and said just put it in a to-go box. Apparently there was a «big back-up in the kitchen» which is very interesting because there were about four patrons in the whole place. After waiting another 10 minutes for my take-out box to never show up, I just left. Ironically, the host greeted me again with a pleasant, «Thank you, have a nice day!» You would think someone would notice I was walking out without having gotten any food! I would rather go hungry than eat here — oh wait, I did!

First time going here with my husband and the chef burnt his fish the first time then the second time it was drenched in grease. My pancakes were burnt and the table behind us sent back their food as well. While standing in line to pay the manager was yelling at an older woman who worked there. The older woman was so nice and kind and the manager gave her a huge attitude about anything she said or asked for help with. Absolutely disgusting the way the manager treated her employees. Never going back!

Food and service was great. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, with vegetable and toast. They’re doing the strawberry festival! No complaints here, I understand corporate took this location back under their control. Discounts to active duty military.

I remember when I was young going to big boy once in awhile with my dad. It was ok food at a fair price. Now it’s still ok food and a insane price. A slim Jim sandwich with no sides is like 7 bucks. A slim Jim is a thin piece of him on toast with cheese it’s like 4 bites. With salad bar and drink like 12 bucks a person. If I wanted to pay 28 $ with tip to eat I’d go somewhere decent.

I had a few good experiences the first couple times I went here, but after seeing what I saw tonight, I’m going to re-think coming here again. We were seated very close to the kitchen in a booth at the front of the restaurant. Service was okay although it seemed like our waitress had a lot of tables. After seeing the reviews of hamburgers with moldy buns, I’m not surprised. From where I was seated I had a good view of one of the workers preparing pies. Never saw her wash her hands before she got to down to making them, and she wasn’t wearing gloves, but the worst part was when she ordered a burger or something from the kitchen and started eating it in between her pie-making. Talk about cross-contamination, that is disgusting. I probably should have brought that concern up with the manager but I wasn’t in the mood for any confrontation. I probably just won’t come here anymore. Also Big Boy, your fries suck. They used to be good but in the last couple years they’ve just started to taste burned and icky.

Oh boy! This place is grody! They seriously tried to feed my 3yr old a moldy bun. On his frigging bday they tried to take him out. Maybe it was a terminator/future leader assassination attempt, but I’m pretty sure it was just poopy workers not paying attention, but I can’t b sure so I gave them one star instead of none. Furthermore they pretty much just shrugged their shoulders offered no free dessert, no let me take that assassination special off our bill… nothing. I’m sorry but if you try to kill my kid the least you can do is try to hook a little brother up w a sundae for Christ sakes. If you hate yourself or a particular family member that you need offed then feel free to eat here. PS– no lie, in 1994 I ate a US Open Burger at this place and had my ONLY case of food poisoning followed by the most voracious yet awesome projectile vomiting. So enjoy!

WHAT A GODAWFULPLACETHISRESTAURANTIS! If i were the health department, id keep an eye on the place. I met a friend for lunch there at his request and went to sit down and there was dried soup on the booth! So we moved to a new one and while we placed our order i noticed ants on the floor. Dead flies lining the windowsills i suddenly lost my appetite. But i had already ordered a club sandwich, which ended up having mold on the bread! I couldn’t believe it! Big boys has outlived its glory days and just like an old dog, should be put down. Disgusting.

Same old Big Boy… crappy short order food, dirty floors and Bathrooms. I used to love this place as a kid. maybe because I got to see the giant big boy all the time. I even worked at one in High School. so I know what to expect from a big boy. Service was good so an extra star for that.

This place was under suspicion for a while… but I found evidence when my kid was served a moldy bun with his cheeseburger. Never again… I will go to the Big Boy on Hall and Garfield from now on!
