Helene Taylor T.

Business Owner

Helene, a native New Yorker, received her associates degree in Nursing from State University of New York at Alfred and a Baccalaureate in Nursing from State University of New York at Utica. She moved to Maryland in 1985 to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse and received her certification as an Enterostomal Therapist. She has been working in the skin care industry for the past 25 years. She has been trained and certified on the multiple aesthetic laser giving her an unparalleled, broad based wealth of clinical expertise in laser treatments including: hair removal, laser spider vein removal and skin rejuvenation. She cannot wait for you to meet the team! In her rare moments away from the spa, she enjoys personal fitness, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband and four children. She is training for iron girl and she andher family are training for a sprint triathlon this spring.

Competent, soothing and caring. I highly recommend Bella for the Untie the Knot massage. Go early to enjoy the relaxation suite with chaise lounges for sipping herbal teas, perusing nice magazines, and snacking on trail mix.

Quaint. Peaceful. Quiet. Soothing. Friendly. Clean. I could go on! This was probably one of thee best spas I’ve visited. The staff here is great! They helped me set up a surprise bachelorette party/​spa day for a friend that will be getting married soon. Unfortunately the friend got her appointments mixed up so she was a no show lol… but we still enjoyed the day.
It’s a medispa that provides the normal spa services but they are physician supervised. They have Reiki and Acupuncture, Reflexology, Massages geared toward anti aging, and a new one for me was the Acne Boot Camp, and tons more.
They offer a referral bonus program, have a guest pass system when you sign up for the premium membership which is $ 85 monthly. With the membership you have 5 services to choose from and a few other benefits.
Check them out! Make an appointment today! They have a parking lot behind the building so no parking hassle, no excuses. You will feel amazing once you wake up from your treatment. Seriously, I blacked out during my facial lol. Enjoy!

All around professional in both massage and laser hair removal. Nice environment; staff is friendly. Very nice place to get a massage. Helena who does the laser hair removal is gentle and helps to make the process as pain free as possible. She is extremely friendly and personable when getting your treatment done and I actually enjoy talking to her! All around great place and highly recommended!

Peaceful & tranquil. This spa is upscale without the uncomfortable posh attitude that normal comes with an upscale business. They have medical procedures as well as facials, massages, etc.
My mother and I have been here a few times for the Swedish massage and each time the experience has been relaxing & wonderful. They have set the atmosphere in the place perfectly with the décor, music, lights, and staffing. I highly recommend that if you are looking for relaxation & a place to de-​stress that you set up an appointment here & give them a try. You

It is so nice to have an upscale and professional medispa in Mt. Airy! I have had several spa treatments here and have enjoyed each one more than the one before. The staff is very attentive and professional and the spa itself is beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and super comfortable.
My first «medi» procedure here was Laser Hair Removal with Helene. I did both the underarm and the brazilian laser procedures and I was very impressed with both Helene and the results!
Helene is so professional and friendly and made me feel both comfortable and prepared for the procedure. I’m a super curious person who asks a ton of questions and she was very patient and friendly with me, answering all my questions in depth and making me laugh and feel comfortable the whole time. Such a seasoned professional who really knows what she’s doing!

La Bella Medispa is a unique spa that offer both cosmetic and therapeutic services. Their services are a bit pricey, but the quality of service is far beyond. I frequently go to receive electrolysis treatments from Sharon. She is extremely professional, experienced, knowledgeable and skilled. As well, each staff member I have encountered is very friendly and helpful. Their location is clean, serene and beautifully decorated.

The setting is ideal right down to the lovely front porch. Each room is designed to enhance the relaxation you seek, lighting is subtle, music soothing and spotless.
Enjoy the relaxation room and the comfortable heated massage table.
Helene and her staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They take time to ensure your comfort, address your concerns and explain what to expect from the various treatments. The variety of services available from Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels (and more), a great line of Facial products will have all of Mt Airy looking and feeling better.
Sunny gives an excellent massage with a soothing touch that reaches deep and unties the knots.
It is hard to beat the Membership Plan, reduced prices and best of all you make the time to care for yourself. Busy lives and stresses often overwhelm us, a friendly reminder each month invites you to relax.

Paris — London — New York — Mt. Airy! La Bella Medispa is an exceptional spa in Mt. Airy that compares and exceeds spas I have visited in many big cities in America and Europe. You start with an aha! feeling the moment you enter this very tastefully and beautifully designed spa. It is spotless clean, wonderfully maintained and immediately invites you to relax and forget about the outer busy world. Well, I told to myself «maybe it only looks nice, but let’s check out the service!». Result: the service was exceptional, from the moment I entered the spa, everybody was friendly, professional, just pleasant! The swedish massage I got was extremely professional and it was combined with a little bit of aromatherapy to make you feel even more relaxed. So grateful to have this beautiful jewel.

Very nice and clean upscale medspa with professional staff.
I had great results with my laser hair removal treatments (minimal pain), and I will be sticking with this place for all my medspa needs. Laser treatments are performed by a registered nurse, and there is a plastic surgeon on site.
I can’t wait until they open the new Spa offering massages!

Helena was wonderful! I had the laser hair removal on my bikini area, and I was so happy with the results! Helena was sensitive, considerate, and made the experience extremely comfortable– despite bearing my nether regions :-) I highly recommend this service to anyone who doesn’t ever want to have to shave again!
