Kevin’s Traveling Touch offers professional therapeutic massage. The services are a blend of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Esalen and Lomilomi modalities. Also incorporated are: Trigger-​point, Sports Massage for sessions that desire or require it. Pre and Post-​natal massage to new mothers is available as well.

History

Established in 2010.

Kevn’s Traveling Touch was technically started in the state of Wiscosnin in 2008 by owner /​manager Kevin Tomford.

Business Owner

I am 44 years old and have been practicing massage now for almost six years professionally (part-​time).

(1991−−1994) My initial massage training was an informal apprenticeship with an Esalen Instructor during my first Army tour in Germany.



(2000−2005) I began formal training in Massage Therapy while stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. However, unfortunately – I was unable to complete the course (military obligations).



(2005−−2010) Using the skills gained in tutoring and initial formal training, I ran a part-​time professional massage practice in Tomah, WI.

(Aug 2010) Moved to Mound, MN and enrolled in a 2 yr massage therapy program.

(Dec 2011) Graduated from Rasmussen College, Bloomington MN with an Associate’s Degree (A.A.S) in Massage Therapy and State Certification. I have over 1000 hours of massage training.

(May 2012) Passed the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
