Placing a to go order is quite the process here… don’t waste your time. Cashier took my order and then said she couldn’t take my order because I needed to go to the hostess stand so that a server could take my order. I apologized for not knowing the process and asked if next time I should just go to the hostess stand to which she replies that anybody is supposed to be able to take my order so I could go to the cashier or hostess stand next time??? Then you have to wait for the server to come to the hostess stand and to take your order. I thought my small order would be quick but after waiting 15min I found out that my order was not placed even though it was taken twice… apparently I was supposed to go back to the cashier and give them my name to pay for my order and that would signal them to prepare my order. Somebody really needs to develop a better process with some employees that under stand customer service…

My buddy invited me to lunch and we ended up here. I thing he dines here often because he knew right away what to order. I followed his recommendation and got grilled cat fish fillet. I have never been a fan of cat fish but this fillet was done very well. Great spices added a little bite. The slaw was very good but the corn bread and dumplings I will skip on if I ever end up eating here again. I was planning on ordering desert but the lunch portions are so big I ran out of room. Lol

I LOVE this place. Fried things with gravy, mmmm. I only go a couple of times a year(because, as everyone knows, their heart smart choices aren’t as plentiful as their other options) but those times I do treat myself to the biscuits or chicken fried steak? YUM.

Great place for breakfast. I love the country ham for breakfast or dinner. It costs more. The service is always great and the food comes hot. Their sweet iced tea is fabulous and their is room for large or small parties. I also like their side dishes. The fried okra, the greens, and the green beans are my favorites. My only quibble would be if the fireplace if it starts to smolder. I must be allergic to the smoke. It is great when the fire is really burning.

Food is good, but getting in for my handicap mom is very hard we will have to give up going. Their isles are too crowded. The distance from the handicap parking to the table is too much. No waiting area for my mom to sit instead of too many people bump into her.

Does«country cooking» mean almost no vegetables or fruit, no omelets, and no eggs benedict? Apparently. Seriously, the breakfast menu items are the same 5 things in different amounts with different names. I generally hate this place, not sure why I continue to go here once every 4 – 6 months or so. Probably because there are so few breakfast options in this area that are worth going to. Oh, and I ordered something with 3 eggs and got only two, then got overcharged for the meal. Awesome. Ok, will stop complaining now and just cook breakfast at home from now on…

We ate at Cracker Barrel 9÷19÷15. Restaurant was very busy, we were told 10 – 15 min. wait…spot on, our server Julie was a 10 star. Just a doll. Also I told the manager what a great asset Julie was, he was kind to give us his time as busy as they were. They were great as was the food.

Cracker Barrel is a chain so they pretty much all look the same. First, you encounter a group of very comfy rocking chairs on the porch. You are welcome to sit here after our before your meal and they are available for purchase. Next, you will see their store which has fabulous apple butter, artisan sodas, and household items for every holiday. The restaurant is in back. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes at this particular restaurant. I’m also always surprised how many people fit in such a small space based on the parking lot. Anyway, once you’re seated a friendly server will always come over and ask for drinks just like any normal place. Our particular server was a very cheerful young girl. Meals here are very reasonably priced. Most run between 10 and $ 15 and they give you a TON of food. I mean they have a platter that give you ham, meatloaf, and chicken dumplings with two sides for like $ 10. I tried the salmon croquettes. The best part about their restaurant aside from the raspberry tea is the variety of sides. They usually have seasonal cabbage which is always great. I’m also a fan of their pinto beans with their cornbread or the hash brown casserole. Drinks are usually refillable and an entire meal will cost you about 30 bucks for two people including tip. Everyone was very friendly and the food is American home style so think mac and cheese, meatloaf, pork, and plenty of bread. I’m also a fan of buying a jar of Apple butter to go.

Every Cracker Barrel is designed to look the same, but this one has outstanding food that doesn’t taste the same, together with warm hospitality and friendly, efficient service. With the two dining rooms full to capacity before 6 on a Friday night, we were asked to wait a mere ten minutes while the staff cleaned our table. We were rewarded when Savannah met us as we sat down and offered to get our drinks while we looked at the colorful cards with seasonal menu items. The Apple Cider Barbeque Chicken Breast with Apple Chutney and dried cranberries was delightful. My wife enjoyed the crispy catfish fillets from the Country Dinner Plates menu. Excellent courteous attention included anticipating our need for take-home boxes and go-cups of our beverages.

Just placed a pick up order and ordered with my order a kids burger meal since we have our nephew with us, we asked for cheese and ketchup/mustard on it, the person on the phone kept questioning it asking is it an adult or a child burger because kids don’t like ketchup and mustard. This went on almost the whole order, they kept going back to the child burger! It’s just rude to do that and all kids are different, just because I asked for condiments on the burger makes it an adult meal?! Manager needs to get the employee in check.

Great food, gets busy fast. Expect a long 20 – 40 minute wait at standard eating times. Great for kids with the toys and general store.

Ordered Old Timers breakfast and was disappointed in it all. Gravy came out without biscuits. Really CB? Eggs were literally brown and overcooked. Really CB? Sausage had a chemical taste — artificial smokiness and were so tough to eat. Sigh CB! Needless to say my meal was gross and our poor waitress! She was excellent and for that I give a kudos to Stormy the waitress who was embarrassed at the food we received and determined to make it right. Bad food, good service but with more bad food.

We had about a 20 min wait when we got there, but it was busy. Once we got seated our waitress got our drink and food order. It was only 10 mind for us to get our food. By the way it was delicious. Our waitress Stormy was great, she was very personable and was happy to help us with directions to avoid construction. I would definitely go back there again especially if I knew we would have Stormy as a waitress again.

The one star is for our server who did her best despite a slow kitchen and a manager who was busy chatting up a blonde server at the server station. A server who appeared to be doing nothing was heard, twice, screaming at someone in the kitchen. She then skipped out in the dining room like a child very pleased with her behavior. It took one hour to receive food. None of the surrounding tables were bused even though it appeared several members of the staff acted as though they really had nothing to do. I received chicken fried steak instead of the chicken fried chicken that I ordered. I was too hungry to send it back. The potato side dishes were barely warm and kind of stuck to the meat. Another table sent food back and our server told them that she told the manager. Did he come out and talk to the diner? Nope… he was busy with the blonde. People were waiting to be seated. The cashier in the giftshop kept apologizing. According to my husband the Men’s room was a mess. Assuming«Skippy» the manager had used it sometime during his shift you’d think he would have had it attended to. As we were finishing our meal we could hear another diner complaining, loudly, to the cashier that it was the worst service ever. We agree. Cracker Barrel corporate better check this place out. It’s a loser.

Consistent with other Cracker Barrels. If you haven’t had the hash brown casserole this is a must!!!
