hmm so lets see, where do i start first of all… i been seeing dr. emerzian on a foot issue since January or February. i told him i was having inner and outer foot pains ect. He has been seeing me for about 8 months regardless of what i have been telling him and he never checked my foot posture or the main area where the pain in my ankle occurred from. first off he told me i needed inserts so i got them… no change… then i was told i needed new shoes(there goes more money out my pocket) and i started to see a little benefit from no ankle movement but was still having the same sharp pains in my arch. He had put me in a boot approximately 4 weeks(an extra week) and advised me not to remove the boot unless i shower and or sleep. again i listened to him because of course, he is the professional. I started receiving more pain in my ankle especially the last week of the boot wear. i ended up calling the nurse and they called me back 1 whole week later and the nurse advised me to remove the boot earlier than expected considering the pain started moving up my knee and hip. when i went back to ibji, he told me to continue wearing the boot regardless of the pain i was having and stated«we aren’t moving as fast as you want but its going to be ok» and then stated«wear the boot another 6 weeks»…um no, after my monthly visits and no improvement(yes we took 3 xrays even tho i told him i ripped the tendon, he wasn’t listening to me). also accused me of not wearing the boot as advised, when in reality i have multiple witnesses at work whom saw me every day wearing it 24⁄7. i even did ankle Exercises to strengthen the ankle but no change. finally i am seeing a REAL doctor who caress about my opinion named dr. kondiles(waaaaaaaaaay better) and he was even appalled that this dr did not take an mri on me. well now because of my previous doctor(dr emerzian) i have worsened my ankle and now need ankle reconstruction surgery not to mention the permanent hip pains i have had since july and it is now October. almost a year i been walking on a ripped tendon and mri showed exactly what i stated. none the less i will never recommend ibji or dr emerzian esp being a young female, i guess makes me look not as smart, but i study muscles and nerves due too my profession. None the less because of him i now have a permanent pain in my hip and also diagnosed me with tendinitis which was NOTHING to what i actually have and because he made me higher arches to try and correct my foot, i ended up agitating my ankle further. HEISVERYLUCKY I DONOTSUEHIM.

Dr Emerzian is an excellent surgeon. I had bunion surgery and I have had very little pain or dicomfort. My bunion was very large but now it looks perfect. Dr Emerzian usually performs surgery on Wednesday but because of my insurance I had to have the surgery at the hospital and the only day available was Friday. Dr Emerzian very kindly agreed to do it on a Friday. It’s been three weeks since the surgery I have no swelling, no bruising and no pain. The scar is barley noticeable. I was walking around with the boot without any pain 5 days after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Emerzian.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Emerzian for awhile for a foot issue. He has been very kind. He listens and works together with me to come up with the plan of care. He ended up needing to do surgery after exhausting conservative treatments. He is very professional as is his medical assistant. I would highly recommend Dr. Emerzian for any feet issues.
