I REALLY needed a shave and thought back to the last time I had a hot shave from a real Barber. It’s been years. So I got myself over to the shop around 7:30 this morning, and after a 10 minute wait, I was in the chair getting trimmed… then came the lather and hot towel… and then came the light touch of a true professional. I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep in the chair. The shave was over before I knew it and I was impressed with the smooth feel of my cheeks again. I can’t wait to show my wife the clean-shaven me!

The best time-warp and shave in Morton Grove. You won’t see Renée cutting hair there anymore but her husband and her son are authentic trained barbers, Old school. They are hunting and fishing kind of guys that love camping. You’ll enjoy the taxidermy and a fine haircut. I’ve been going there for 25 years and always come out sparkling.

Which moron claimed this barbershop was closed? It’s not closed. I’m there every other weekend. Great cuts, old school atmosphere, dirty jokes from Bill, taxidermy on the walls. Everything you need in a barber shop without the asinine men’s salon prices or the dark«club» lighting.

Great old time barber shop nice people and they do a great job. Sometimes it maybe a little crowded but it’s worth the wait.

I’ve been going here about 20 years now. Old school barber shop with a lot of atmosphere. Decent barbers — I’ve had better but those have been few and far between. Generally, I go here because I know what to expect and don’t get any surprises with how the haircut ends up.

I’ve been coming to Bill and Renee’s since 5th grade or since Bill Jr started pounding beers. Bill Sr and Bob are usually here now as Bill Jr is focusing on his other ventures. Either way, you can’t go wrong with a trim here. The only thing missing at this Barbership is Beer, they even have a dog named scruffy. Love this place.
