Really good food! We had four dishes: a pizza slice, baked cheese ravioli, spaghetti with marina sauce, and a hot veggie sub. All were generous servings. All were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely stop here again. The only negative was the restrooms.

One of my favorite spots in the area! I’ve put so many people on to Rockys and they all fell in love with me. Everything I’ve tasted on the menu is delicious especially the subs and pizza. Only took one star off cause it looks kinda run down but price and food is GREAT! ALWAYS!!!

2nd time coming to this place and it’s the same experience. The waitresses walk by u 100 times before they acknowledge you. They clean empty tables and have many personal conversations with other patrons while u sit there salivating. I saw an individual call them over to pay for their meal and the waitress sat and talked to them for a while. Then once a waitress actually came over they said they couldn’t accommodate my order and went and took another customers order all while I sat with my 4 yr old waiting for answers. After two visits I think the pizza is very good here but the customer service sucks. Maybe it’s good for the regulars who come here but if ur looking for prompt professional service this is not the place to come. Also tried calling ahead to order since it took so long the first time and phone went straight to voicemail. I tried 5 different times calling. Also don’t sit by the benches near the bathroom u will smell the fumes coming out of there since the doors don’t close all the way. Now that I’m leaving this review I’m seeing several bad reviews. But why do they have 5 stars? Maybe businesses can pay for better ratings.

Excellent pizza and calzones. We were staying at a nearby hotel — great place for takeout. If you call ask about their specials! We were pleasantly surprised — very friendly staff.

I would love to give this place a 1 star because of how horrible my food was today. But in all fairness, I can not. I’ve ordered from them before and the food was really good. I’m going to chalk this one up to the cook having an Awful day.

So it has been several years since my initial review and I thought it had been long enough to warrant an update. First, I want to say that they do indeed honor a AAA discount, which just seems crazy because their prices are so reasonable. One of the things I like best about them is that I never, and I mean never, leave feeling like I over paid for anything. If you saw the size of their salads… it is remarkable what you get for what they charge. My wife and I have a running joke that starts with«what the heck was I thinking» caused by my first large salad order combined with a full sub order. I have ordered salads at enough places where even the large salad was so small it was disappointing. So when I ordered a large salad and full sub, you probably could have fed a family of three on the amount of food they brought. We have eaten there many times. I would ball park it at maybe 30 times. I always leave feeling like I got my money’s worth. Try the large basket of fries with house dressing. Try the small buffalo chicken salad(the small will be enough for most people). The chicken is cooked to perfection. Try any small salad and a half sub and you will be stuffed and probably spend less than $ 10 excluding drink, tax, and tip. Some of my favorites are the Buffalo chicken salad, the chef salad, the chicken parm sub, the fries, and the house dressing. Pretty much any salad is good with the house dressing. I think one of the reasons we come here so much is because we have so many items we like that it keeps us from getting bored with the place. Scott H. commented about the racist claims one other reviewer made. I too have never seen that there and am quite skeptical. Considering that one of the two best servers we have had there is African American and considering that about half the time we go there we see the same African American gentleman sitting at the bar who is obviously a regular, I find it hard to believe that it has happened with any regularity. Of course I don’t know what happened that made the reviewer feel that way. Rockys is one of our tried and true, go to places that is a dive in the best sense of the word.

The individual pizza slices are huge and cooked to perfection. Everything is made to order which is a plus even if it means you have to wait 25 mins for 2 slices of pizza(that was awkward but worth it). Only downside is that I saw a huge roach the last time I was there but in their defense, it appeared to had come from outside(under the door). It still left me feeling extremely queasy and uneasy especially since the cashier didn’t seem too surprised when I told her.

This place is hit or miss. One visit the food is great and the next not so good. The staff are polite so that is a plus. Don’t order the Alfredo pasta, it is gritty and not good. Had it on multiple occasions and always the same gritty sauce. The wings are very good and a nice size. I also recommend the spaghetti. Good pricing.

Food was piping hot! Excellent tasting salad. Garlic bread, was not home made. Pizza was a little under cooked, but very Flavorful, and lots of fresh ingredients. Would try the lasagna next time.

Best cheesesteak in Georgia. All the other food is good but not great. I have been going there for 30 years and while the restaurant and surrounding area is a little hood now, I still stop in on the regular for the cheesesteak.

I have been here a couple of times and each time the pizza is outstanding. Place is a bit small and can fill up quickly. I tried to bring a friend this past Saturday to find no seats available. Great for Rocky’s but sucked for me. We ended up driving 25 minutes south to another consistently great spot. The pizza is too good to not try it out again.

It’s nothing fancy, that’s for sure, but if you’re looking for flavorful, hearty food, this is the place. They are proud of their spaghetti sauce and with good reason! They offer a decent variety of desserts, too, including cake by the slice! Where do you see that anymore? We will be back. Anxious to try more of the menu!

AWESOMEFOOD! Good price. Just make sure you order ahead and stress what you order and then check your order when you get there. I almost always have some small hiccup with my food order, including it not being ready and having to wait longer. But the small confusion is worth the food. A little hole in the wall place thaht my co-workers and I frequent for lunch. But I’d rather not dine in, lighting not great and it’s a bit dated.

Great food! I’ve been eating here since I was in high school and I’m in my 30s now. Their Greek salads are delicious. The Italian sub is OMG. Their pizza is the only pizza I eat now. For some reason it doesn’t give me heartburn… crazy. I haven’t had any of their pasta dishes. I keep saying I’m going to try them, but everytime I go in I order onemy favs. They also have an aawesome lunch menu.

There once was a time that my wife and I used to eat here at least 3 times per week. We were living on the McDonough/Stockbridge line off of Jodeco road and it was well worth the 20 minute drive. The problem is, we live 45 minutes away now so we are only able to hit Rocky’s a couple of times per year. If you are looking for a great, romantic atmosphere, this is not the place to come to. If you are looking for great food at a great price, this is your place for sure. It is not much to look at, but the place serves awesome food. Over the years the service can be hit or miss. However, we were in here on a Saturday night, April 20th, 2013. We had a server named Kelley who was great! She was friendly, joked around with us and kept our drinks filled. She also did everything she could to accomodate any request we made. I wish there were servers like her at every restaurant I go to and life would be even better than it is. Their pizza is top notch. I have had wings in the past as well and they were good. I have also tried a pasta dish or two that was very solid. My wife absolutely loves their«white pizza» as well. And just like Joe R. mentioned, you MUST try the basket of crinkle fries. They are top notch. What is funny is, I was reading his review while we were waiting on our food to come out. A few minutes later the waitress asked if we would like to try that house dressing with the fries. I busted out laughing and she did not understand and gave me a deer in headlights look. I called her over to the table and showed her Joe’s review and we all got a great laugh. We did try the dressing and it was pretty good. However, we prefer to sprinkle some parmesian and dip them in ketchup instead. To each his own. This place is one of my all time pizza places. In fact, the only one with better pizza that I have been to is Minsky’s in Kansas(somehwere near Overland Park but I know they had a lot of locations). I can’t wait till I can make it back to Rocky’s again! Oh…and P. S. for those of you that may have tried the«Rocky’s» that opened up years back on Jonesboro Rd in McDonough… that was not a legit Rocky’s after about the first 3 months it was there. They sold out to some yahoo that did not know how to run a restaurant. So do not let that experience, if you had it, taint your willingness to try this place. This one rules! And I have one last note just in case you read the review where someone accused the staff as being borderline racist. Perhaps she caught someone on a bad day and misinterpreted their actions. This place has existed for well over 25 years and the demographics of the area have changed drastically. It has gone from being a predominately white area to having very few whites and much higher concentrations of every other race. So to say a place that can survive in the same location throughout those drastically changing demographics over the years is racist, is absurd. The fact they have remained in business is pretty much proof that there is no racism coming out of Rocky’s pizza. One should be very careful throwing that card out to the public, and I can tell you that at this place, it is just flat out not the case. You will find customers of almost every race in there on any given day and they will all be served the same way by the staff(which is also diverse I might add). They would have been out of business in a heart beat otherwise. So get down to Rocky’s and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

There was a girl that worked there, I think her name was Kelly. She had good customer service. The calzone was ok. It was Togo but I only lived 5 minutes away. the food wasn’t very hot. But it tasted pretty good! It’s a dive but in a good way! I would go back.

I’ve always heard great things about Rockys. That was until a friend started working there. The first time I came in there the«owner» Christian greeted me. I just came in to order a slice of the famous Rockys Special. It was less than special. It was under cooked and lacking. So I sent it back. The so called owner, Christian, said that he would make it right. In the mist of talking to him about it he said that his name was Rocky. Should have raised a flag on what a liar he was. Come to find out, his«wife», Tina, is the actual owner. He’s nothing more than a manager if you can call him that. The second time is when I came to dine in. My fried ravioli were still frozen. My wings were were still raw and my pizza was once again under cooked. Only thing good was the salad. House dressing is good on everything. Fast forward a few months. I mentioned to my friend(whom worked there at the time) that I was going to come by Rockys and get some food. He quickly deterred me for getting any. He had pictures of all the things that were wrong about that place. Pictures of serious mold on cutting boards, workers not wearing gloves, of workers cleaning the ceiling tiles over cooking food(in which he had a picture of where a co worker had a dead rat that came from the ceiling tiles), roaches, and other horrific things. The beer from the kegs are all Bush. Not Budwizer or Bud Lite. The worst thing that he told me is that the wings sit out in the kitchen uncovered all day. And that the wings never see fresh oil. They change the wing oil once a week if that. All I’m saying is don’t let the inspection score fool you.

I had to give an extra star. Lately their hotwings and lemon pepper wings have been really good– fried just right. I’ve also been loving the wing sauce. The pizza has been consistent as well. I still suggest you order the X-large or by the slice.

Rocky’s Café & Pizza is one of those tucked-away, hole-in-the-wall establishments that has been around forever. This 25/yo family business makes some really good food. Fresh, hand-made pizza dough, and homemade lasagna are among the family claims to fame. This is no-frills dining, and it is delicious(and relatively cheap). I’ve always enjoyed the subs. I once ordered a stack of pizzas from this place for a Habitat build project, and I hear the strombolis are outstanding. I also hear good things about the Greek salad. Worth seeking out if you’re in the area.
