I try to got here each time I’m in Morro Bay. They have beautiful and different African Violet’s that I love. Gift shops are amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Got African Violet’s two years ago and begonias last year.

It has become a tradition to stop by this shop when we visit Morro Bay. It’s so magical! And makes you wish your backyard was as pretty and tranquil as this shop. The fountains and chimes are serene. And the colors are beautiful. It has both outdoor and indoor areas. The outdoor area boasts plants, benches, chimes, and fountains. Lots of succulents too! The inside has different rooms with different décor themes running throughout.
We purchased a fountain here four our backyard. We love it and get so many compliments on it. The workers here are very friendly and were very helpful with our purchase. They gave us tips and helped us load it into the car.
Check this place out. And get inspired to update your outdoor spaces!

I was there on Wednesday 2−17−16 and it’s a beautiful place to wonder around. I wish the young man that helped me had a personality and some customer service. Horrible !!! I fell in love with a wind chime that was expensive and also had picked out two planters that were exactly the same item but there was a dollar difference one being $ 13 and the other $ 14 that were in the sale area. I asked for the cheaper price and he said no because they came in on different shipments? I told him that he just lost a sale and he said that’s ok. Wow !! I wonder if the owner knows he turning away sales?

Possibly the most beautiful shop I have every experienced, which is why calling it a gallery is more appropriate. It’s really two shops/​galleries in one; one side is more garden oriented and flows into the outside where there are more garden displays and an extensive selection of succulents and native plants. The other side is more of a traditional gift shop specializing in home décor but in this case the inventory is stunningly curated.

This is a gem of a nursery, fountery, containery, statuery. Lots of love and excellent taste invested in this mostly-​succulents sales spot.
The coastal region is an eden of global succulents providing suitable habitat for delicate to desert hardy species. This nursery features lots of varieties and innumerable ways to accent and display them. The fountain area is a water music delight with whimsical to firmal ways to plash water about.
If plants attract you, this place is a must-​see. If you hunt the artsy and architectural, this place is a must-​see. If you have physical conditions requiring medical marijuana, you may get lost here, gaping mouth saying, «wow, wow, wow.» On the flip side of that coin, if you’ve been out sampling grape or grain brews you may trip over something.
This is a wonderful, unique nursery and decorative arts venue.

Fell in love with this place at first sight! So beautifully laid out and such a great selection of greenery and garden décor! I could spend hours in there just soaking in all the natural beauty and could very easily spend all my money… until next time!

This place is fantastic! We come to Morro Bay every summer with our family and always make a stop at The Garden Center. The owner is extremely nice and the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. We came today for a girls trip and had yet another great experience! Highly recommended!

Amidst a sea of tacky souvenir and salt water taffy stores is this gem of a find. There the Garden Gallery stood next to a Japanese restaurant that looks like an office building, and across from stores selling t-​shirts, magnets and shot glasses. What an unexpected find and an astonishingly beautiful gallery! You’d expect to find a gallery like this in Carmel or Beverly Hills, not on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay.
My husband and I love succulents, and boy, does this place have a selection! There are individual and varieties of succulents aesthetically arranged in small, medium and large pots. There are also succulents of all sizes and shapes in plastic containers that you can buy. You can also buy herbs, potted flowers, and mix of flowers and succulents in pots. Garden décor, beautiful pottery, garden furniture, outdoor entertaining tableware and linens, and fountains can all be bought here. All these are artfully presented in different sections of the store, both inside and outside.
We ended up buying four plants – two strange looking ones and two more normal looking ones to add to our growing collection in our garden. Our total came to $ 27 which was not bad at all. Too bad that we really can’t add any more stuff in our garden. I would have bought more plants here!
Even if you’re not looking to buy a plant, stop by here. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place. Check out the succulents. You may find that you have room for one of them after all!

It does not get better than this if you are into gardening. The Garden Gallery has an extensive collection of really nice succulents and is a wonderful nursery to spend some leisure time in! This place I could spend hours just walking and enjoying not only the plants and nursery, but the space. It is a nice relaxing zen experience, listening to the water sounds, calm music and quiet while getting lost in greenery. There are some really nice sculptures here also and water fountains of many types and sizes for your garden.
I bought a box full of very cool succulents that were missing from my small but growing succulent garden, amongst my rock pile in the back yard garden. This Garden Gallery is tucked in right in the downtown area of Morro Bay and we almost walked right by but the front was so inviting I decided to walk in and check it out and I am glad we did. The succulents were inexpensive at well.
I got 4 plants for about $ 20 not a bad deal at all! I hope we make it back here again.

If you love cacti and succulents, this is your place! Lots of unusual plants and unique planters and pots. Nice garden store. Very helpful staff. The set-​up is very calm and zen… I love this place, one of my favorite places to shop when we’re in Morro Bay.

This place really does a great job. My wife and I were looking for a succulent, and had some questions. We found the staff very knowledgeable, and they even had a sheet prepped to handout that added to the information she was giving us.
They have a wide variety of items, all of which appeared to be reasonably priced. We have been here a couple times while on vacation, and I imagine we will be back at some point in the future.

An unexpected treasure within downtown Morro Bay, the Garden Gallery is a sweet little store for all you botanists at heart. They have two sections with one part of their little business selling in home décor with a rustic feel while the other is more indoor gardening material including my favorite section: cactuses! They have a large selection of cactuses and other rare unusual indoor plants for you to choose from. The covered outdoor garden is full of fountains and zen like décor that brings you instantly to peace as you walk around the building. You can first choose your plant of choice then go to the back where they have an array of different types of pots. Choose the one that you feel that best fits your plant and they will pot it up for you before you leave!
They actually have a nice selection of ferns and every so often I’ll see an amazing bonzai here. Even if you decide that you don’t need anything, just drop by and take a look. I’m sure you’ll walk away with something ;)

This place is heaven on earth. Everything is uniquely beautiful. Whoever complains about it being too pricey must have looked at the wrong item for the price tag. AT first I was shocked because the prices of some potted plants seemed ridiculously high. Then I read the description on the tag and realized that the price was for the statue or the fountain next to it. Instead of sticking a price tag onto the statue, they artfully placed the price stake in the potted plant next to it. I bought four items and they are reasonably priced. Not inexpensive but not outrageously expensive either. One of the items I bought was a diffuser kit for $ 55.00 (Rosy Rings — Honey Tobacco). The same item is listed on
for 52.00 but that item is not eligible for free shipping because the seller is not associated with Amazon free-​shipping program (you would probably pay higher than 55 bucks after shipping fee is added). So i would say the prices there are on par or slightly better than even online stores.

What a fun garden store to find in Morro Bay! Great selection of succulents and cacti. A great variety of plants. Stag head Ferns. Sculptures for the garden. Water fountains. Venus fly traps and other plants that eat insects. Lots of pottery too. Check it out.

I must visit the Garden Gallery everytime I visit the Central Coast. Succulents abound with different types for great combo pots. Prices aren’t too bad and the displays are awesome. I kind of think the only thing I would recommend is a basket to put purchases in and a better check out spot. Of course if I had a basket to push around I would spend more money here, maybe I don’t need one after all! Okay, never mind, I have never spent less than $ 50 here on plants so don’t give me a basket. Love the employees, always willing to give advice on the plants.
Make a plan to visit, you will not be disappointed.

have a love-​hate relationship with this place.
This place reminds me of Gump’s SF in a seaside setting. Everything is laid out so beautifully yet they are sooo pricey. Don’t get me wrong, they have quality stuff from all over the world with master window display artists meticulously coming up with these gorgeous seasonal goods and trinkets that made you want to just throw everything into the shopping basket and forget about your financial future. You can’t help yourself but just want to buy everything in the store. And if you are lucky enough and snap out of this trance state, you will then notice the numbers on the price tags that can really add up to a small fortune.
The garden side is a bit more forgiving. They got tons of succulent plants in all sizes. The smaller ones are more affordable than the larger and more exotic varieties.
Every time I come there I see groups of these extremely happy and retired elderly rich ladies buying stuff. I think they are included in the demographics that can really afford the stuff here. Even when I go to their clearance area — which is a little alcove behind a curtain in the farm and children themed room, the prices are still way over the top.
Nevertheless, occasionally I would cave-​in and buy a few small items here and there. I just love coming here to look at their wondrous displays!

SUCCULENT HEAVEN! this place is absolute magic. If you are a plant and nature lover, you will just fall in love with this garden. This place is so serene and peaceful. They have little benches where you can enjoy all the GREEN around you and listen to the water fountains. The plants here are grown with love and they are very affordable if you wanted to start your own garden at home.
I felt so INSPIRED and REFRESHED after swinging by this place.
