I specialize in custom designed and built cabinetry, such as kitchens, home offices, entertainment centers, and wallbeds. I also design and build fine furniture.

History

Established in 1994.

I started building furniture and stage props in 1971, after trade school (L.A. Trade Technical College).After building yacht and aircraft interiors (Steve Bragg and Associates, Santa Monica, California), for three years, I started my first shop in West Los Angeles, building specialty interiors and furniture for interior design firms such as Cannell & Chafin. My wife and I moved to Los Osos, California, in 1994. I have been building furniture and fine cabinetry here ever since.

Richard recently custom made a wall bed with a storage units on each side and two additional storage units to custom fit large alcoves in our office. This is the second wall bed he has made for us. The first is currently being used by friends and is over 15 years old and still in mint condition. There is no question about the quality of Richard’s work and he takes his time to make it perfect. I would highly recommend using his services especially for detailed work that will look beautiful for many years.
