We were heading out of town and wanted a light breakfast, so we walked from our boutique hotel to Crills II for the Cinnamon Rolls. They are fantastic. The rolls are fairly large, so you may want to share. They offer plain, covered in nuts and then offer a cream cheese frosting which is served on the side. We ordered the cinnamon roll covered in nuts and icing on the side. The coffee was fresh and hot. There is nothing better than a cinnamon roll and coffee for breakfast. We got it to go and they wrapped it nicely and we walked down and sat on a bench watching paddle boarder’s, kayaker’s, bikers, runners and boaters coming and going on the beach. The perfect breakfast atmosphere with a scrumptious cinnamon roll.

Excellent cinnamon rolls. The cream cheese icing was great, and the young man who helped me was very nice. He carefully wrapped each roll with aluminum foil, packaged the rolls to go, and they were great to eat them at home. I will return there as often as possible!

The memory of eating here years ago was the reason we went there. The cinnamon buns are more like cinnamon bread with topping and nuts. They were moist and tasty. They are good but not great. I would drive to Pismo and get a great one next time.

Went here once, will not be going back! Walk by here several times a day and it always smells sooo good! And yet, when we went to eat here. We both got a cinnamon buns and a few truffles. Eww! Just eww! The cinnamon buns were not cooked thru at all, tasted like they hadn’t even been cooked! The cream cheese topping was very dry, didn’t have any taste. The truffles all tasted the same as well. The guy who was working the counter didn’t seem very interested in helping. The taffy has always been good.

I got some assorted taffy & a milk chocolate peanut butter cup. The taffy was much better than the bland stuff that passed for taffy at the Cali state fair a few days ago. The peanut butter cup was tasty. Staff was friendly enough.

Worst dark chocolate turtle EVER. Low quality sweet dark chocolate, under roasted almonds, burnt caramel sever warm… Not sure the display refrigerator was working. YUCK

The cinnamon roll was not good at all. I ended up throwing half of it away. I also got a cookie which for some reason tasted like it was wet. My hubby got 4 pieces of chocolate candy and he wanted to eat them later in the day when he opened his bag they had gave him white candy instead. The workers were also rude it seemed as if you were bothering them! I would skip this place.

Checked the hours of this place on the way to dinner and planned to go way before closing. Hours said they ended at 8pm, but were closed at 7:30. Talked to an employee, but they refused to honor the posted hours. Bad form!!! There were other people trying to get in too. You lost several customers tonight. We were so excited to try your taffy. Not sure if we’ll return.

I have to start off by saying the first impression was that the employee working in there hates his job and it shows. I love being sacarstic in a certain enviroment, but when you treat a customer with disrespect and sarcasm on top of it, it sure makes it a waste of our time to step foot in this business. My father in law asked a simple question of if one type of cinnamon roll had more nuts than the other and the employee with the shaggy hair a 80’s deco shirt sighed deeply and stated«Or you could just say you wanted that one instead(very sarcastically).» I guess there is a reason there reviews are lower here.

Right next door to Hofbräu & Anderson Inn. Cinnamon rolls are actually quite good — 2 options either with or without walnuts. You could also get cream cheese frosting as an accoutrement on the side — yeah I just called cream cheese an accoutrement. Best to get the rolls when they first make them but still good even later in the day.

I love their freshly baked cinnamon rolls. They have either the one with walnuts on top or without and if you want you can ask for some cream cheese on the side. I also love that you can eat outside and enjoy the ocean view. :)

The Husband and I got one of each of their cinnamon rolls; mine was with nuts and cream cheese icing, his was the plain with no icing. My first issue with these rolls was that they were both just barely warm, granted it was 8pm but if they don’t have a way to adequately keep them warm they should at least get them out of the food poisoning«danger zone» and reheat them upon sale. My second issue was everything thing else about them. I like to start on the outside of a cinnamon roll and pull it apart and work my way to the middle. I was unable to with these ones because the dough was more like cake dough, with no distinctive«rolls» to speak of. The dough was also very plain, with barely a trace of cinnamon to be seen or tasted. My rolls was drenched in a Carmel colored sauce with nuts that they claimed to be walnuts but were chopped so small it was hard to confirm that. They then covered it in a very generous dollop of their cream cheese icing. The«Carmel» was not sweet or sticky but more the consistency of slime, and like the dough it was pretty flavorless. The nuts were chopped to small and also managed to add nothing in the flavor department. The biggest disappointment was the icing, it was sweet but, as another reviewer pointed out, it was somehow bitter! My husband felt the same about his dough and carmel glaze. We were both so disgusted by them we took a few bites and left them on the trash can next to the door hoping it would be a warning to future potential customers that night. With all that being said. The shop was cute and the staff were polite and attentive. They were the only reason(and that you have to at least give one star) this place got one star at all.

Always a great place to go for some snacks and especially for some ice cream! It’s even reasonably price especially for a coastal town!

You know, I try to write fair reviews, and I try to give businesses breaks when I can because I know being in business is not easy. And maybe this place was just having a bad day, but, let me put it this way: I bought a $ 3.50 cinnamon roll here and was barely able to gag down one bite of it(what is that, about maybe 15 cents worth?). Or let me put it this way: Never in my life have I ever ordered something and not been able to eat it. Up till now. I’ll spare you what I really thought of this because I don’t want to make you sick, but you can see in my picture below(which, if you click on it, you’ll notice it says«YUCK!» not«UCK», not sure what happened there) where the big red arrow points as the secret to my disgust. This was NOT good. Taste-wise, appearance-wise, or feel-in-your-mouth wise.(It was cold too, but I have had cold day-old ones from Old West Cinnamon Rolls in Pismo and while not as good as fresh, of course, still they were darn good anyway). Perhaps they may be different in the morning. Or on another day. Hopefully they are. But for me, I’m not sure when I can eat another cinnamon roll again after this. Morro Bay is such a wonderful place that I’m amazed that it was a place there that served up such a dubious, first-time-in-my-life distinction!

Mmmm. The Cinnamon Roll w/walnuts! I was able to experience one that literally just came out of the oven. So delish and satisfied our sweet tooth for sure. Stop in for one if you’re on Embarcadero.

Quite a mix of everything: Pretty much sums up what this gift shop, pastry shop, candy store ALL in one is all about. Huge, average & small cookies, brownies, candies & delicacies handed out for a reasonable touristy price and, tasty too. Staff is clearly young, seasonally & socially interactive(friendly but with an affect of a forced smile), seemed they were wishing they were someplace else, I don’t blame them as it is quite small and cramped behind the counter of: [We Offer Up So Many Things]. T-Shirts, chotskies, sunglasses, yes, quite the potpourri of shops-if you don’t find what your looking for here, you won’t. So close to the ocean, I knew we would, find, what we were looking for, and we did! We did find some fridge magnets of crabs which not only were cool for $ 4.95, but having watched this on South Park episode before coming here, made the purchase even more irresistible. «Look like Crab, Look like People!» «Taste like Crabs, Talk like People!»

MMMMFRESH and SOFT cinnamon rolls! I’ll admit that when my bf was thinking of getting a cinnamon roll here, I cringed because I saw how much sauce was on them and they looked way too unhealthy and sweet and I knew I would end up eating some. He got a regular cinnamon roll($ 3) and a nutty one($ 3.50) to go. The cream cheese comes in a separate container and costs an extra 75 cents. Since the regular cinnamon rolls had just been taken out of the oven, we knew they were super fresh and ate that one first. I only wanted to have a bite but after taking that first bite, it was way too hard to stop myself from eating more. The cinnamon roll was sooo soft and cinnamony! I tried to eat the parts with less glaze since it was a bit too sweet for me. We haven’t tried the nutty one yet but I don’t want to judge on it when I do since it’s been a couple days now and it won’t be as fresh haha. Overall the cinnamon rolls here are definitely yummy and worth the price for the size you get. The service is also friendly and helpful. Not sure if I would come back simply because it made me feel very guilty and sad for my tummy hahaha

T-shirt store, souvenir shop, candy shop, candy shop, CINNAMONROLLS? It was as if the mere sight of the huge tray of sticky and cinnamon-y rolls were enough to pull me into the store. That tray looked like what Cinnabon has been trying to be all these years. We decided to share one and splurged on the extra $ 0.75 for cream cheese frosting. Be forewarned: the cream cheese frosting isn’t drizzled, it isn’t poured, it’s scooped and plopped as a huge sweet dollop like a pie a la mode. It was pretty delicious, although a little too sweet. It would have sealed the deal if only it were warm, which is rather surprising since we stopped by bright and early in the morning. I loved how gooey and sticky the roll was, and the bready parts were soft and fresh. A-OK. If I make it back in time for a fresh, hot-out-of-the-oven batch, I’ll update the review :)

Another taffy and fudge place on the embarcadero. The cinnamon rolls are front and center here. I purchased one to save for breakfast the next morning. That was a mistake because it was dry as heck. I suggest just eating it hot there at the shop. They sell other things besides sweets here.
