Qwik Pack & Ship

The U-​haul website has their hours on Sunday as 9 – 12.
We get there at 9am. The owner shows up at 9:15. We are one of three people waiting. The owner shows up and immediately informs us as rudely as possible that they are not open on Sundays and he is only helping this one guy because … We did not hear his reasoning. His tone was so rude. No apology for being late, nothing that indicated he cared about our patronage. My husband started the engine and and drove off. He never even asked us what we needed. I guess business must be good if you can turn people away and guarantee they never return. That is pretty shocking considering how close his competitors are. We drove down the street and got what we needed from another business. No issues.

I used Qwik Pack & Ship when I moved in May. I was able to reserve a U-​Haul with them weeks in advance, and the pick-​up/​drop-​off process was VERY easy and convenient. The owner/​manager (I think his name is Jimmy) had some computer trouble when we went to pay, but hey — stuff happens. He offered multiple truck sizes, the truck we got had gas in it, the furniture pads worked out great and nothing horrible happened en route. (He did laugh at us a little when we came to return our keys and he saw that we’d driven the U-​Haul a total of 4 miles.)
I’ve also shipped a number of pre-​paid packages from this location and they’ve always arrived to their destinations in a timely manner.
This past weekend, I desperately needed some flyers printed before I headed to an event (translation: 2 printers at home — one ran out of color ink and the other ran out of black. Was unable to meld them into one, working printer.) I brought a flashdrive to Qwik Pack & Ship right when they opened — I had to wait for a bit while the owner helped a family hook up a U-​Haul to their car, but no biggie! I was able to get 30 great color copies in my hand within 15 minutes and I was on my way.
He recommended that I print on heavier paper so they wouldn’t curl up from the heavy, colored ink, but then it turned out he didn’t actually have any of this heavier paper in stock (also, no big deal. I’m easy). Jimmy gave me his card and said to definitely come back if I wanted them printed on better paper in the future.
