I commute everyday to NYC and this monthly ticket costs me almost as much as my rent.

The two tracks have gum everywhere and smells like a hobo. Their is only a ticket machine on track two so you have to go all around the station to get there

It’s a major-​ish station that smells like piss and has only a few ticket machines on each side. That being said, if you have an hour, $ 13 and want to get to a central/​mostly boring part of Manhattan, it’s an option.
On the side coming from the green, it heads towards NYC/​Hoboken/​Newark and has a small waiting room with a coffee shop. On the other side of the tracks (where I live) that train heads west towards parts unknown — there are almost always taxis waiting to take you from there.
It is roughly 200% safe to walk from the station into Morristown — just find the side facing away from the Staples strip mall (e.g. without a 50-​spot parking lot) and walk towards the right on Morris Street. If you see an overpriced gas station, you’re going the right way. Walk right on Morris, past the Diner and George & Marthas, then go straight up the hill at the intersection to get to the Green — roughly ¼ of a mile.
The station itself is just a crappy, suburban train station — getting there early to «hang out» before your train is as smart as waiting for the Great Pumpkin — neither make sense.

I’m so bored that I decided to write a review for a RR station.
This RR is located in the main part of Morristown. The waiting building is old and dirty. The bathroom? Forget it. You’re much better off doing it in the woods. It was that disgusting, despite having cleaning people near by. Maybe it has changed since I’ve been there last…
