Description

Specialties

Dr. Taylor specializes in the treatment of neck pain and back pain associated with injuries that develop from overuse, degeneration and trauma. Computer use, prolonged sitting, bending, physical labor, and sports injuries all contribute to spinal pain. He also specializes in tendinitis of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Dr. Taylor is certified in Graston Technique and FAKTR, both utilizing specialized instruments to loosen adhesions and trigger tendon re-growth in the injured area.

Our typical patient suffers from neck pain and stiffness that often develops into headaches affecting the back of the head. The headache may spread to the forehead and become very persistent. This cycle can repeat itself again and again. Initial treatment will address the pain, but ultimately posture and muscle balancing must occur to prevent future episodes.

Other patients present with lower back pain or related joint pain associated with sports or other activities. There is usually a predisposing weakness in the supporting muscles and ligaments of the joint that goes undetected. Identifying the exact cause of pain is a challenge, but once discovered can lead to long-lasting relief.

It is always my goal to keep treatment programs short and to teach patients the proper rehabilitation activities needed to stabilize the area and prevent a relapse.

Our office is in-network with Horizon, Aetna, United, Oxford, Cigna PPO, Medicare, and a variety of smaller plans.
