I ordered food through Eat 24. The food was edible but very bland. There are so many great restaurants in Morristown. I won’t be ordering from there again.

I’m so surprised this restaurant has such bad reviews. Then again, I have found Chinese food in the NY/​NJ area to be consistently monotonous and bland which is very different from the Chinese food I’m used to in the midwest, so it’s less surprising to me since my preferences seem to be opposing to what’s common here.
I love Hunan Wok because it’s the *only* restaurant I’ve found to have the rich sauces I was accustomed to: flavorful, thick sauces. Hunan is also the only one in the area that makes food truly spicy; other Chinese restaurants’ «spicy» rarely taste even mildly spicy even when I emphasize I’d love it extra spicy.
The Kung Pao Chicken is my favorite. Wonton soup is good. Pot stickers are good.

I’ve never had a problem ordering from here. Good food, good prices and delivery for me is always pretty prompt. This place has a lot of poor reviews, which surprises me because this is my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant in Morristown.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! The food is terribly inconsistent, yet consistently bad. The entrees are lacking in flavor and the meats are of low quality. Delivery orders are slow (1 – 1.5hrs) but pickup is quick.
Save yourself the disappointment and search for other Chinese food places around. Some of the local Japanese restaurants also serve great Chinese entrees.

Not sure why all the reviews are so bad… My experience was pretty great (ordering from grubhub). Delivery was a speedy 30 minutes at around 8pm. The shrimp toast was a perfect start. The pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli, and pork lo mein were all delicious! They even followed our special instructions. We will be ordering from here again.

For years, delivery from Hunan Wok was swift and high quality. In recent months, the delivery times have remained quick, but almost every order we have gotten is now wrong — wrong items, wrong portions, and arriving cold. Tonight, not only did I not get the entrée I ordered — but the wonton soup arrived in a cracked container that had lost all its broth. The delivery person clearly cares as little as the person who takes the orders. We were faithful customers — we are not going to order from Hunan Wok again. A darn shame.

I will NEVER order from here again.
I usually order from Hunan using their online system for delivery. This is the second time I have ordered from there and they have not made my food, claiming they didn’t get my order. I was upset the first time because they didn’t seem to really care, but I decided to give them another chance. I placed my order online and got a confirmation e-​mail stating my order. When my order never came, I called the restaurant. I explained to the woman that this is the second time this has happened to me and that I would not be ordering from here again. She did not have any concern about losing my business and did not care that I was a dissatisfied customer. The food is decent but customer service is SO HORRIBLE that I would never recommend this establishment to anyone at all.

Dear lord, this place has gone down the toilet. Have they gone under new management or something? I ordered pork dumplings which were at least 60% greens (what???) and were bland as hell. The pork lo mein was sub-​par to say the least as well. Sure they’re cheap and convenient, but completely not worth it. Absolutely awful. I’ll be picking spinach (from the «dumplings» out of my teeth all night. Never again.

Uncertain whether this place is under new ownership/​management, but the quality of food and delivery has gone south.
I placed an order Online as I have in the past and they made such egregious mistakes that I will no longer frequent the joint.
I ordered at 11:50am…online…I called at 1:15pm to inquire what the deal, yo?
They say they are «very busy today». Okay, fair enough. I get a phone call from the Delivery Guy a couple minutes later.
I walk up to the lobby. No food.
Walk down a flight and who is standing there but the aforementioned Delivery Guy.
So the Caucasian stoner cannot read. Fine.
Think they bothered to run the credit card so I can pay? Nope.
I get a phone call after the fact and have to give them the 411.
The food is just shy of lukewarm to cold.
Epic fail.
I suspect in an effort to save a few Yen, they started putting the dumplings in a styrofoam container, too.
Now I have to find a decent Chinese takeout who delivers and does not screw things up.

Sooooo dirty and gross. I walked in late at night ordered take out and sat to wait for it. All of a sudden a mouse ran right in front of me. I ran outside and continued to watch the mouse run around and right at another customers foot then ran into the kitchen! I asked for my money back and said i would never return. AWFUL.

Absolutely horrible food! It wasn’t so much that the food was «bad» but that it had almost no flavor and the texture was like cardboard. I got sesame chicken and pork dumplings and my fiancé got beef and broccoli, neither of us enjoyed the meal. For nearly the exact same price you can something much more flavorful and enjoyable to eat elsewhere.

I was stranded at work and ordered in lunch. The fried wontons were great and the boneless spare ribs needed a little more sauce but the fried rice was very good. The main complaint I have is that it took an hour and a half from the time I placed my order till it arrived at work (I work a mile away from the restaurant). I feel this is completely unacceptable.

We ordered a variety of things from the menu including chicken chop suey, fried wontons, orange chicken, and shrimp lo mein. The wontons we expected to be the crab ones you normally get at Chinese food places and they had some sort of mystery meat in them. They were also chewy and the flavor of the wonton tasted like you were eating plastic. The chop suey was fine. A little low in flavor but nothing a little soy sauce couldn’t enhance! No bad words about the shrimp lo mean either. But probably worst was the orange chicken. They definitely dumped frozen breaded chicken in the fryer because it was dry and chewy and blech! All in all though for what we paid we got a lot of food and it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve eaten. No shame in eating it for lunch the next day!

great Chinese food for take-​out prices. they have really good fried chicken and stir fried noodles. meh pan fried dumplings: soggy but they taste alright.
if you order pick up, the food is ready very quickly, in like 15 minutes. I’ve never been disappointed with the food here, and my family has been ordering food from here for more than ten years. the owners are friendly and speak Mandarin.

Completely disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again. Ordered roast pork, seafood delight, crabmeat lo mein, and shrimp fried rice. Without exaggeration, the pork and seafood was 80% cabbage. The seafood delight was primarily shrimp which didn’t smell or taste fresh. There were 3 small pieces of what looked like tiny overcooked shrimp in the crabmeat lo mein. The shrimp fried rice was yellow rice with big chunks of onions and a few shrimp. The worst rip off I’ve ever seen ordering chinese food. It’s unfortunate as we’ve ordered from them in the past and had much better quality but after seeing some of the other reviews maybe we just got lucky or they made a change for the worse.

We have ordered lunches from this restaurant for more years than I can count — about 2 decades. While there have been subtle changes in the food over the years, today’s lunch was horrific! The Cashew chicken lunch special had three small pieces of chicken. More importantly, it was served in a dark brown, salty, sweet sauce that resembled the plum sauce of Moos Shu Pork. The overall color was like a dark Teriyaki. Even the eggroll was substandard: heavy rolls of dough around filling the size of a pencil. I called them (their sales receipt says to «Please tell us about the quality of our food and service»). Beleive me, they don’t want to know. We are sad to see an old favorite become a retaurant fom which we will never order again.

I ordered take out from this several times while working on a project in the area. The main entrees are very greasy… i ordered a chef’s special dish consisting of meat and veggies and the whole thing is swimming in oil.
The only thing decent from this place is their soup. I especailly like their fried wonton soup (soup with veggies and meat, and fried wonton on the side)
