Glancing through the reviews I saw «hidden gem» and «great mountain biking». I have to agree with both of them. I heard of great places not too far from Denver but this one had to be the closest I’ve been to so far. The mountain biking was really good with lots of ascents and descents before getting to the major ascent at the end. The views you are rewarded with at the top are worth the ride up alone! And I also agree that fall is a fantastic time to ride here!

Good mt biking especially in the fall. Please don’t ride if the trail is wet, usually two to three days after rain or snow. Be aware of rattlesnakes that may be sunning themselves on the trails. Also, there are many joggers and hikers on the weekends. The best parking lot is to the west of C470.

A hidden gem that is right in front of you. Love hiking/​walking here. Do not let the view from a distance fool you there is much to see and some great trails to hike and bike here. Perfect for when you do not have time to head up into the mountains. There are trails for all skill levels. To bad the city of Lakewood allowed the other side of the road to be developed it was once a park and a huge open space now it is Urban Sprawl know as SOLERA.

Pretty cool place. Lots of good single track. I went on a Thursday so I only saw a few people. All entrances I saw didn’t have parking lots so don’t be surprised if Maps takes you to the end of a road with a small entrance. I got a little lost so it might be a good idea to bring a map. Dog friendly and it’s free to get in.
The trails aren’t overly challenging but are still a good mix of hills and flats. I’ll be going back.

It’s a great place to take visitors from out of town for some awesome views and pictures, or you could just go to enjoy it yourself!

No idea why this place was not on Unilocal.
It’s easy to get to, has decent parking, is dog-​friendly, and even has a porter potty at the base (don’t look down!). This park is very versatile — good for beginners or advanced weekend warriors. The trails are relatively easy if done at a slow pace, but kick up the speed (or add a bike/​my dog) and you’ll be sweating in no time.
There were people biking, running, and walking with poochies. The whole hike provides great views of Denver and the mountains. Gorgeous place to spend a morning/​afternoon.
