History

Established in 2000.

Ben Grant, owner of Grant Automotive, grew up in Pine Junction and has been involved in the mountain community for the last 40+ years. At the age of 15, Ben knew that his interest in automotive repair would determine his professional direction. Luckily, Kevin’s Subaru was looking for an apprentice to work on their Japanese imports. Four years later they asked him to be the manager, which he did the last eight years at Kevin’s. With his 12 years of experience in automotive repair and management, he decided to start his own business in the Gerber Auto Body building.

His excellent reputation and skill attracted a following. So many old and new customers wanted his service that he quickly outgrew his facility and had to move next door to a 12,000-square-foot automotive garage.
