Haught Diggity Dogz

Much preferred the previous location at Cam Rock instead of being attached to the dive bar they are currently are. At the previous location they had a lunch bar and 4 – 5 tables where you could actually sit and eat. Prices were cheaper there too. New location is shady and cramped. Also kind of gross. When it first opened I ordered a couple dogs and the foam take out container smelled like an ash tray. Haven’t noticed that recently. Regardless, hot dogs are very good. Sauce is good, slaw is good.

This place is tiny tiny. If you visit in the summer you can sit at a picnic table outside. Otherwise, you’re probably going to scarf these down in your car.
The hotdogs are good, and a great price at $ 1.75 per dog. The French fries are fresh cut and perfectly crunchy. The chilli on my wv dog was good but a little on the bland side. The mustard and onions and slaw helped but it was missing a little something. Service is quick and friendly, the fries and hotdog were made fresh. Thanks for a great lunch!

Driving through WV on vacation and made an overnight stop in Morgantown.
Decided we needed to try a little local flavor before hitting the hotel. Heard about WV-​style hot dogs and pepperoni rolls and found our way to Haught Diggity Dogz.
Smart move.
The WV dog with chili and slaw was OUTSTANDING.
Pepperoni rolls were delicious, too.
Plus, the folks working their were extremely nice to us. They seemed genuinely thrilled that vacationers from halfway across the country would find find them.
Great service and some amazing local fast food… And the prices were insanely low.

They moved slightly from the address to a location about a ¼ mile west. They’re no longer in the strip mall. There is a gravel parking lot with plenty of room.
There is no indoor seating where you order. There is a bar area next door. Outdoor seating are a couple of picnic tables with umbrellas.
The West Virginia hot dogs really feel like they are home made. The slaw is scooped out of plastic containers rather than sitting out. The chili is thin but tasty. Adding a bit of mustard gives it a bit more flavor. The fresh onions on top give it good texture and a slightly sweet finish. It’s also been given rave reviews on the WV Hot Dog blog for making an authentic WV hot dog in this part of the state. Don’t be distracted by its appearance when you stop by. The staff is friendly and you’ll get a great deal!
